Arrived very late after long journey, but still to a very warm welcome and to a cup of tea and snack - very much appreciated! Very clean and comfortable and delicious breakfast and supper. Would definitely stay again.

Country hotel conjures up a different image to different people, I’m sure, but this one’s more an averagely good B&B with pretentions of grandeur. I was told the restaurant's passable, if you have limited transport, but we didn’t use it and neither will be staying here again. What should have been a fairly simple query at reception about our room...

We have just returned from a fabulous truly relaxing stay at Nant-y-Odyn Hotel wow it is one of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed in from the moment you walk through the door and are met by Wendy you can feel the stresses and strains just fade away and you start to feel so relaxed. Our room (No.15) was...

My husband and I arrived late afternoon after a day bird watching at South Stack and were greeted by Wendy. Our room (7) was roomy with unusually large amount of storage and all the usual facilities including a jacuzzi shower. Up in the roof, the windows were low down on one side and a velox on the other, which limited...

I stayed as part of a bird watching group for two nights at this hotel. Food was very good and rooms well equipped with hair shampoo, shower gel, shoe cleaners, sewing kit and hair dryers. I had a bath in my room (9) which was just above reception but not too noisy. The interior of the hotel was a little...

Excelent staff and owners, they all went that extra little bit to make the stay very pleasant. Evening meal and breakfast were excelent. I will certainly stay here again and so will my team when we do business in the area.

Afternoon tea, family function, very pleasant surroundings with views of Snowdonia, Great welcome, service excellent, Welsh speaking staff and really good fresh food, Good sandwiches, brilliant scones and cakes and the perennial favourite a very good "bara brith" with butter. ( bara brith means speckled bread in Welsh, but in reality it is nearer to a fruit cake, thinly sliced,...

Staying at this hotel is a good experience but take a closer look in relation to the restaurant. Breakfast first. Was the coffee fresh? The toast was made from pre sliced wrapped bread as seen through the kitchen door. All spreads were in pre packed portions as were the cereals and the stewed fruit could have been bought in as...

I'd been looking forward to visiting Nant Yr Odin because of the enthusiastic reviews for its 'gastropub' food, but the unfortunate reality is that unenthusiastic staffing and old-fashioned apartments mean this is only a convenient night-stop on the way to or from the ferry at Holyhead. The rooms are mostly converted in the roof-space of former farm buildings and many...

The first thing to say is how easy it is to get to. Just perhaps 800m from the A55 spine road that runs across the island. I've been here for 5 nights doing some research into my family, walking and cycling. Rooms are comfortable, excellent WiFi if you need it, large lounge area to sit and talk with other guests...
