I visited last week with my mother. The scones were home made and served warm with lovely cream and jam. Excellent hot chocolate too. Very friendly and polite service. I Will definitely return soon. Quite reasonable prices considering it's a hotel.

The restaurant staff were immaculate and the food to die for. We had friends staying in another hotel but they chose to come and eat with us in the Bistro as the food was so good. They even ate there the night after we had left. Although it is an old hotel the bed was comfortable and the room very...

Party of three went for a meal. We placed the order at 6.18pm and received the wrong order at 7pm. We had to make the waitress aware we had the wrong order as she had only delivered two meals and we had to ask where the third meal was - we also said that the meals she had delivered were...

I love this hotel. I’ve been coming here on and off for about 65 years and it (and Beaumaris) have hardly changed (except the food is 100 times better now than when I was a child). It’s fabulous view forgives any quirks it has. The food is good and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. We’ve held two party...

Another visit to this great hotel - this time for my wife's birthday and prearranged visits on the island and main land - Puffing island cruise - brill - and Mountain Railway at Llanbris fantastic. Bulkeley always delivers excellent service and accommodation and of course an excellent restaurant and menu. We'll be back!

This isn't a super 5 star hotel with all gadgets and flashing lights (if you get my meaning), but a more sedate and relaxing hotel as befits the location. When we visited it was being refurbished but that was not intrusive in any way. Breakfast was of a good quality and there are plenty of quiet areas in the building....

I can't praise the staff of The Bulkeley Hotel enough. Nothing has been too much trouble for them including a crazy early breakfast at 03.30am start for our Duathlon event. Amazing service and lovely hotel in a gorgeous setting. Thanks for everything to all the team.

Visiting Beaumaris regularly in the warmer months (and occasionally in the cooler months) of the year we usually at some point end up at the Bulkeley to sit on the benches outside as it is in such a good spot to look out over the sea and generally people watch. Our last visit was during the May school holidays so...
