...stayed two nights. Excellent staff and accommodation in The Townhouse (Pearl Room) but let down by second rate food in the Brasserie. For me a roast potato is crisp on the outside and soft on the inside not soft on the outside and hard on the inside and looking (grey) and tasting like it was a reheat from lunch -... More

I've never written a bad review and sadly this is regarding my favourite restaurant. Food and service was fabulous however a few Saturdays ago, it was not. Took 30 minutes to be shown to table, pre starter fried balls which were tasty but they were also on my starter and main - slightly different fillings. Then pigeon was undercooked (not... More

We stayed one night DB&B in the Townhouse, Ebony room, at Ye Olde Bull, Beaumaris, which has a prime location in this beautiful and historical seaside town. Parking is offsite unless you are lucky enough to be in the first four vehicles to arrive. That's no problem as there is plenty of street parking or a nice big car park... More

My fiance I married on Saturday the 1st of October 2016 and the reception was held opposite at the Bulkeley Hotel. We had secretly booked a lovely room at the Bull for our wedding night and the following night, as a treat for ourselves. At the time we explained that we would be checking in very late and we were... More

Hi, Firstly, we'd like to sincerely apologise for what was a very unfortunate experience with us. We've let you down on what was clearly a very special day for you. This is a matter of great concern to us at The Bull. The out of hours arrangements made on the night of your stay were no different to every other... More

Excellent meal last night, Andrew as head chef first night, new menu fabulous. Can't wait to book again, keep up the good work. The added extras as compliments from the chef were great, duck confit, roast tomato soup and pre dessert supertb.

Sunday evening meal in the bistro. Nice selection of menu items, our choices were very tasty, good customer service as they made space for us. We recommend the Bistro looking forward to trying the loft restaurant next time.

We have just returned from a five night stay at The Bull. It's a delightful old coaching inn centrally situated right in the centre of the town and is a convenient place from which to explore Snowdonia. Our accommodation was in the Town House annexe, just across the street from the main hotel. Our room (Scarlet; they're all named after... More

Pleasant surroundings belies food quality. Expected better because setting and reputation were excellent. Unfortunately the food was mediocre, dry and tasteless. The ploughman' platter was presented with dried up rolls, tasteless grapes and dry and tasteless chutney. Liver and bacon was dry and over cooked. Service was pleasant but pudding course came out a different times so one was left... More
