Detailed Reviews
Brilliant. Very well organised. Nice pitches . Good sizes with hedges to separate . The reception and shower block was lovely. The welcome at the barrier from the village staff was so warm and welcoming . Each pitch has the electric, TV and water on the post . Yes it looks expensive but take into account that you can use your guest pass to access the village on the day you arrive and the following day you leave . This gives you access outside the opening hours of the site and the village is so lovely in the evenings and early mornings ( few people around ) . It's about £18 each to access the site if a normal visitor so two days worth of this covers your pitch cost .
We would definitely go again .

Really lovely site with easy walking distance to the village, entry included in site price
Toilets/Showers are the best I've experienced.
Limited phone/tv reception on site but free WIFI available and there is also a connection for TV, although i would suggest taking a long Ariel lead to connect to it.
Our plot was very spacious but i would suggest asking for a different plot to where we were (see map pic) as directly behind the adjoining hedge there is a food distribution company with lorries unloading and reversing from 7.30am

Great motorhome park! Facilities are fab and clean. Entry into the village is included, the best time to walk around was after hours when everyone had left. We used the outdoor pool twice and it was lush. They could do with an extra dishwashing sink as there was always a queue to do the dishes! Also gas BBQs are allowed and bring lots of food as the cafes close at 5 apart from the expensive hotel restaurants. Our plot was at the entrance so we avoided the noise others said about from the distribution centre but we did hear loads of the golf carts reversing constantly.

The Motorhome park is well presented
Mostly shaded pitches. We needed levels.
Easy to book in and get settled.
Showers are clean but need shower curtains as water goes everywhere and of course the entitled people don’t bother mopping up after themselves. Curtains would help alleviate that.
Access to the village at anytime of the day or night included in your stay.
Village is lovely, two nights would have sufficed for us though. We had exhausted the Village and walking trails in two days. Village at night was a lovely experience after visitors had gone and it was lit up.
Restaurants are pricey but excellent cafes are ok
It definitely needs an essentials shop in the reception of the Motorhome park. Normally we are fully stocked in our van for the Duration of any stay we do but just this once we had forgotten to replace the coffee and ran out of bread. The nearest shop is 1.7 miles away and short of unhooking and stowing everything and driving up there we did without.

I wasn't even aware this site existed until stumbling over a mention of it in a campervan forum. And boy was i glad I found it! A one-minute walk into the village the site fee includes your entrance fee which makes it great value. But, even better, is that you get the chance to go into the village and explore it when everyone else has gone home. A magical experience.

What a fabulous place. The small pitch was spacious, and the showers were spotless, hot and powerful. The highlight was the unlimited access to the village. We sat in the village square at 10pm, it was beautifully lit and so peaceful. A 7.30 am run through the village and down by the beach was an amazing experience and a last stroll through before it opened to the public was the perfect end to a lovely stay

Stayed in the motorhome park. Why anyone would put in motorhome parking bays that are not level when doing it from scratch with modern machinery is beyond me, plus why put camping next to the noisy bins and delivery / housekeeping area.
The showers and toilets were badly designed and dirty. The showers also had no thermostatic control and in my opion dangerous.
The standard of cleaning found in the showers also extended to the eating areas, plenty of staff, but clearly not switched on. Dinner in the hotel was overpriced, but service was very good. Overall a lot to learn and improve on for the future.

Stayed on the site for two nights, facilities are excellent and the pitches are a good size, screened with hedges to provide some privacy. Showers and toilets are very modern and spotlessly clean. The real advantage of this site is that you can stroll through Portmeirion when the crowds have gone home and you almost feel you have the place to yourselves. We were fortunate to have good weather and so we could take advantage of the hotel’s outdoor pool with its stunning views of the estuary. We would certainly stay again.

Absolutely stunning place. Campsite was indeed extremely clean and tidy. Toilets, showers and kitchen facilities were top notch.
The price per night was a little steep at £55 but not when you have unlimited access into the beautiful village, would recommend an evening stroll around as it was lush and not as busy as the afternoon. Staff very helpful also.
Would definitely use this motorhome site again.

A lovely clean motorhome park. A very friendly welcome greeted us upon arrival. Where we had such an easy check in. Reccommend pre check in before arrival. Facilities were top notch. Pitches were almost level, nothing that couldn't be sorted with small ramps...
