Great campsite, nestled at the foot of a mountain. Beautiful setting, but nature at its best. Can be busy in bank holidays, and pricy, but the mountains, river and the lake make it a top quality camping trip. Nature at its best.

There is no doubt that this location is absolutely beautiful and a great spot for camping. Local amenities, shops, and restaurants are also great. The campsite even has a handy pizzeria and breakfast option at certain times of the year. On the face if it, this campsite appears to be an ideal place to stay and relax with promises of...

We were mad enough to visit over the bank holiday weekend....it was heaving and we felt like we were camping in a car park!! We were in our camper by the road...no other places for camper vans to go with an awning...it was like Piccadilly Circus! We would definetley visit again just not on the bank holidays...there is loads to...

Recently stayed for 10 nights to celebrate my 40th birthday with friends. The location and views are amazing and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Was also great having the scrummy pizza and breakfast facilities on site. Would totally recommend this site to anyone but if possible I would avoid bank holiday weekends (limited showers).

Just returned from two nights there. Would have stayed longer, but the weather was terrible today. Beautiful location, with stunning scenery all around. Staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the lady who runs the breakfast stall. She was very kind to my son and made great bacon butties, coffee and hot chocolate with giant marshmallows. This really is a...

Went bank holiday weekend. Facilities not the best but ok. Managed to get buy the small group we were in. Not impressed at all by the amount of people they let in given that there is supposed to be 3m between each tent that seemed to go out the window! And no one (management) even policed this. Too much of...

Even on bank holidays when the site can be full there is still plenty of space. We love the fact that we can choose where to pitch and that you don't have to book in advance before knowing the weather forecast. The bathrooms are kept clean even when the site is full. The setting is incredible.

Amazing. Took my little cousin as a treat. She did cliff jumping off elephant rock. We all did kayaking. Gorgeous day weather wise. Camp site was amazing. Great shower an toilet facilities. As well as washing machine services (didnt use these though) a place to clean dishes also which meant no cleaning up once your home. The place was so...

Beautiful location and stunning views! The road getting to the site was very busy on the way down as there was a coach on those tiny little lanes! Bit of a faff but got there in the end. Came into the site and we picked our spot close to the lake. We were a group of 4 families so we...

We arrived on a Friday we had booked a group pitch when we arrived some random campers had pitched up in our area. We spoke to management who were friendly and solved the problem by offering us a new pitch. After some grumbles from the group we were happy to move, the campsite is very nice the facilities were clean...
