The rooms are well appointed and clean. The bar has local beer and larger. Breakfast is large with a lot of variety you will not be disappointed. From it's beach side location it is only a 3 minute walk to either the castle or the village centre, where you will find an India resteraunt pub food etc. The staff are...

We have just stayed here for 2 nights and really can't fault it. Superb situation and if you have a sea view room as we did it's hard to drag yourself away from the view! We had an evening meal which was lovely, as were the breakfasts All the staff, particularly the owners, were extremely pleasant and helpful. We would definitely...

This is a lovely hotel with interested and friendly staff. Good blend of guests across the age range. They were really warm to some of the elderly guests and that impressed me. The breakfasts were very good, made on demand and not the usual buffet style. Would go back.

Booked a sea view room and the view was priceless. We enjoyed sleeping with the windows open and listening to the roll of the sea. The beds and pillows were most comfortable. Very clean hotel with high standard menu and pleasing choice of breakfast menu. The eggs are cooked to perfection. There is a peaceful garden with seating area at the...

We had a party of nine staying the weekend of April 21-24th to celebrate my Mum's 80th birthday. The rooms were spotless and comfortable with great sea views. The restaurant food was good quality with plenty of choice and the bar had a good selection of drinks. Especially liked the Czech goat beer and the Moose! The owners Michael &...

My partner treated me to a stay in a hotel and we had the most amazing stay in this place. The sea view room was spotless and comfortable with stunning panoramic views over the sea. We were shown to our room by a friendly receptionist. The staff were so friendly and welcoming and could not do enough for us. We...

We have just come home after a two night stay in this wonderful hotel. The hotel location is pe fact, just on the sea front. As soon as we arrived we were made most welcome. Our room (26) had a superb view of the sea and esplanade. The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. The two armchairs by...

We stayed there privately for one night in April 2017. Our seafront room was certainly not the most modern, most elegant, but very spacious, clean and had a beautiful view over the bay. We also had a really very good dinner (oxtail), which did surprise us given that the village seemed to be "fish-and-chips-county". All very reasonably priced. What impressed...

A return visit for an Easter break to the wonderful hotel. Beautiful rooms with sea views. Fabulous food & great to go to a hotel that serves breakfast to order, rather than buffet style. There is also lovely lounge & bar to relax. Everything about this place is spot on. Looking forward to another visit.
