This hotel has been updated to a high standard returning it, I assume, to its traditional grandeur. Criccieth is an unspoilt seaside town with no amusement arcades, but has many lovely walks and the castle is still the main feature.

As Boyd H points out, the town is quite small but there are a few local pubs and restaurants (one of which can be found on Tripadvisor, is called 'Poachers Restaurant' and has excellent reviews).
