A stay at Glyn-y_Coed is guaranteed to impress. The rooms are all very well presented providing comfort and even a touch of luxury, which is most welcome after a long day walking in the beautiful Welsh mountains. The rooms at the front of the hotel with a sea view add that something special. Julie is an excellent host providing plenty...

Had a wonderful overnight visit as part of my cycle tour. What a lovely warm welcome from Julie and the team. I was in room 10 which was spotlessly clean, spacious, beautifully decorated and with lovely sea and castle view. The bath was most welcome after cycling all day. The lounge was stunning , lots of local information to be...

Just had a 2 night stay at the Glyn-Y-Coed & were really pleased with everything. The Superior room (7) was just what we wanted with a fantastic view of the beach to the left & castle to the right. I liked the chairs by the window so you could relax & enjoy the scenery. Julie & Karen were very friendly...

We have just had four nights at Glyn-y-Coed and could not find a fault or complain about anything. The family dog Wilma was the first to greet us when we parked and is adorable (non pet lovers don't be put off, she is fantastically trained and will not bother you in the slightest unless encouraged) The hotel is beautifully decorated,...

Good off road parking, nice view of the castle and sea from one of the luxury rooms. Breakfast was lovely, the room (10) and bathroom well decorated and in good condition. Julie was very helpful and lovely to chat to. Very well placed for a walk to the sea front and local eating places. If you are not used to...

Thank you for trying to book with us via an agent. We did call you as soon as we received your booking from Eviivo, giving you plenty of notice. This does happen from time to time with booking agents. I did explain the situation to you and to your husband. We are genuinely sorry to let you down and I...

Having stayed in Julies guest house on quite a few occasions, also during the winter periods when working in Wales. She deserves the five stars for comfort cleanliness decor and service. I have also stayed in Criccieth, in hotels and B+Bs, some of good standard and some not so good. The Glyn-y-Coed simply the best. Jeff from Liverpool

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying for two nights at this delightful retreat. From a welcoming pot of tea on arrival to hearty filling welsh breakfasts served by proprietor Julie, the weekend could only be described as perfect. Rooms are airy, tastefully decorated and beautifully furnished to a very high standard. Nothing was too much trouble, Julie's...
