We really enjoyed meeting you and your dog. Next time a puppy as well? It was fortunate that we had our only dog friendly room available for you that night. We think that room works well for dog owners as it has its own entrance so we can keep the rest of the house dog free.

We've been here 6 times: WE LOVE IT! Pen y Garth is a very special place with wonderful views of Harlech castle and the beach & estuary. Best cooked breakfast we've ever had. Thank you to Peter and Cheryl for your fantastic hospitality.

What a really lovely place rent a room. To get Pen y Garth you first have climb a step hill, easy in a car. But when you get there the treat begins. Once in off road parking, it's time appraise house. Old stone blocks form the outer walls and at once you are whisked back to the days and toils...

The best B and B we have ever stayed in ! Excellent views, hospitality and breakfast. If I could give six stars out of five then I would. So quiet and peaceful, the only problem was the lack of eating places in Harlech.

We do not mind six stars! The pub is now doing food again which helps on the days that the other eating places are closed. We never tire of the views of the mountains and beach from our house which change constantly with the weather and the seasons.

Having cycled through a storm, we arrived soaked and bedraggled, but received a very warm welcome. Our bikes were stored safely (valet parking!) and our waterproofs taken to a drying room. We were then shown to a beautiful, spacious room with a wonderful view across Harlech Castle, to the sands and mountains beyond. The bedroom had a supply of Fairtrade...

It was a shame you had to contend with the wet Welsh weather on the day you arrived. We hope the rest of your cycle trip went well.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Very friendly and welcoming(but not overbearingly so) -even giving us a lift from the railway station and providing little touches such as homemade Welsh cakes. Beautiful views in a very comfortable room. And an excellent breakfast including homemade bread. One of the nicest B and Bs we have stayed in for quite some time.

We enjoyed meeting you and glad you liked our little touches. We will always collect guests from the railway station - a great help especially if you have heavy bags.

Had a very clean and comfortable stay at Pen y Garth. Wonderful view of Harlech Castle from our room and the breakfast was delicious. Probably my best nights sleep on a firm mattress. Very quite location with sweeping views.

Peter was very welcoming and the house is wonderful. His hospitality is outstanding and provides a positive stay. The only draw back to the stay is the eating options in the town. They are very limited to non existing. However if you can get around this your stay will be evrything you want.

Thank you very much for your lovely comments. We were so sorry that you had so much trouble finding somewhere suitable to eat on the night you stayed with us as we know how important this is to complete your Harlech experience. Usually there is a good variety of eating places to choose from in the town but for some...
