Stayed here as part of a group of photographers. Very comfortable rooms; huge choice of good food based on local produce - and large portions are the norm. You will not go hungry here! Ample car parking, though you do have to cross a busy main road to get to and from the hotel. My main grumble is the virtually...

Sticky toffee pudding (gluten free) out of this world. Great food, so much so we didn't eat anywhere else on our short break. Lots of options if you are coeliac (incl pizza), but the rest of my family also had fantastic choice and really enjoyed their food too. Can't wait to go back.

We stayed here for a weekend in October and enjoyed it. First the positives - the place is very convenient for walking etc in the mountains. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Meals in the bar/restaurant were excellent and good value for money. The place had a relaxed atmosphere; there was a very useful drying room for wet clothes and...

A friend and I stayed here whilst competing in a local triathlon. We booked last minute and stayed in room 11 which was a twin and cost £85 for 1 night B&B. when we checked in we met Jayne who really couldn't be more accomodating, she had us checked in with no fuss, found space to store our sports equipment...

Eating well and cheaply in Snowdonia can be a bit of a challenge, especially if you haven't done a lot of research beforehand. By chance we had a meal at this place without any high expectations. In fact we were very impressed: the food was produced quickly, the menu was extensive with a lot of gluten-free options. The specials board...

This hotel really is spot on for walkers and tourists who need a good down to earth base for their activities. First impressions are to be honest a little bit disappointing mainly from a fussy point of view a bit untidy and a slight lack of quality in the decor, but having said that the friendliness of the staff, the...

The hotel is set in the national park, and only 15-20 mins drive from each of the main starting footpaths to climb Snowdon. The hotel has a separate pub, which is connected to the hotel, and serves evening meals. In short, this is a great hotel to stay in. It is a close starting base for many of the main...

Just stopped for dinner passing through and discovered a welcoming place with the best homemade burgers - really. The pizza was bland and the crust more bread from a packet than dough, but stick with the burgers and you'll be happy.

We have just got back from the lovely Tyn Y Coed. The co owner (sorry, didn't get your name) is a lovely lady, she was very welcoming and helpful. We were checked in swiftly and shown around. Our room was lovely and clean (if a little small, but that might have something to do with the four poster)! Great complimentary...

My wife and I decided on an impromptu visit to Snowdonia with our dog and this place was recommended by another inn that was full (the owners were ex-regulars when they lived in the area) The room (room 6) was a good size clean and very comfortable. It was nice to have dual aspect windows and we were very happy...
