Four of us stayed at the Feathers for two nights New Year’s Eve. Rikin was very helpful, couldn’t do enough for you. Great music in the bar. Restaurant is Italian and we really enjoyed our New Year’s Eve menu. Compliments to the chef part owner of the hotel. Rooms were clean and beautiful. Comfortable beds with good quality bedding. Hotel built 1815 so had lots of quirky features. Love listed buildings so found it interesting. Welsh Breakfast was amazing all freshly cooked, not buffet so was hot, fresh and tasty. Plenty of quirky shops, bars and restaurants in the area, New Quay only 5miles south of Aberaeron Thank you for making our weekend special. Will be back again for our 3rd visit. See you soon.
We recently stayed a weekend in Aberaeron and after wandering the streets in the rain searching for somewhere to have an evening meal (a lot of venues were closed), we were delighted to find the Feathers Hotel and restaurant. What a find! Lovely decor, warm, clean and inviting. We were welcomed into the bar by first rate waiting staff, the best I have met in a long time. We settled with our drinks by the fire before being shown into a lovely restaurant. Amazing true Italian menu, no mass produced pasta dishes here, all fresh fish, meats, pasta and sauces. The owner is Italian and was delightful. He and his fine staff were friendly, attentive and went out of their way to make sure everything was just perfect. I have just viewed previous Tripadvisor reviews, and notice some negative comments posted, but this was certainly not our experience. Well done Feathers Hotel, we will be back!…
Me and my husband went to the feathers royal in Aberaeron for 2 nights between Xmas and New year, well we have to say we was greeted with a lovely welcome by Regan the deputy manager he showed us to our room which was spotlessly clean warm and cosy, our breakfast was amazing service was excellent, we had our evening meal there which was Italian and it was delicious all staff Stefano, Brid and Regan are all amazing and couldn't do enough for us me and my husband will definitely be returning in the summer and would recommend the feathers Royal for a stay x Lynn and Gary
Thank you to the talented chef and the friendly staff of the "Feathers Royal" Italian Restaurant. We took our son there as an 18th birthday treat, and it is easily the best restaurant we've visited in the Ceredigion area (we live in Ceredigion). Welcoming staff and superb food. Between us we had 3 different starters and then 2 different main meals and 2 different deserts - all of it was absolutely delicious, and beautifully presented too. We highly recommend this restaurant.
Visited the restaurant a number of times and the food is always excellent and staff friendly and helpful. The menu has new additions regularly and is genuine Italian cuisine, superbly cooked. The open log fire during cooler months is a welcome addition. Highly recommended.
Excellent lunch 😊. So pleased to find a quality Italian restaurant in Aberaeron. My pasta was delicious and finding gluten free bread for my husband's mussels was no problem at all. The service was great and we had a nice chat with the chef before we left. Will definitely be back.
Had another great meal in the restaurant at Feathers Royal this evening. Food choices are excellent whether you’re a meat fan or vegetarian, the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly and it’s really good value for money. I had rigatoni with meat sauce whereas my wife had a mozzarella and sun-dried tomato risotto as mains and both were superb. If you like Italian cuisine and want the genuine article, then visit Feathers Royal!
We were a part of four friends. We all thoroughly enjoyed the delicious authentic Italian meal served at the Feathers hotel Aberaeron. The dining room was tastefully decorated and the staff were most welcoming and helpful. We all look forward to dining at the Feathers hotel again.
Popped along to the Italian Restaurant for an early birthday meal. What a treat. Attentive staff, nothing too much trouble. The idea was main course and a pud! The main was delicious, perfectly cooked pasta and very tasty too. Pudding was another triumph, so good I forgot to take a photo until it was all gone. The best surprise of all the bill, very reasonable.. will definitely be returning
We visited the restaurant having seen the Italian menu outside. We were very impressed. The surroundings and atmosphere were good, the staff were excellent and attentive. The food was brilliant. The best bruschetta we've ever had, really lovely home made pasta dishes and delicious desserts. We'll definitely be going back!
