My wife and I stayed at The Monachty for three nights over New Year weekend. We enjoyed ourselves and had a nice time. The room had great views over the harbour and the bed was very comfortable. It could have been so much better though as little things, which require no great effort to put right, deflated our experience a...

We stayed 1 night. The Monachty looks impressive down at harbor, but it is Aberaeron itself that makes it special. The room was OK but small, stairs taking up to it narrow, but we've got these in many other old places so no big deal unless your a disabled person. Breakfast was very good. Expensive, but hey, do expect that...

Not worth any stars. Dreadfully slow although not full. No customer service and food leaves a lot to be desired. We booked lunch this morning having to give out choices in advance so one would expect a fairly quick turn around when obviously not busy. Half hour into wait I explained that two of the party needed to leave at...

I stayed one night on business. I don't think it was particualry good value for money. The place is ok but its tired in decor and the rooms are pretty basic with no finishing touches. The staff are fine but the service was poor. Breakfast wasnt great the options were limited and certain items were not available. The sausages are...

Stayed 4 nights. Breakfasts were good. Service and staff friendly above average. Would stay again Not suitable for disabled persons.too many steps. There was only one key available for our twin room. Competitive prices.enjoyed the outdoor space very pretty overlooking the harbour. Lounge area comfortable with settees to sink in.Town center location very handy for all local amenities.

We call in for Sunday lunch last Sunday 23/10/16...What a disappointment ...We had just about a spoonful of assorted veg....but the beef was something else...Almost raw..I think that if it had been a little warmer it might have got up from the plate to speak to us..My tip don't go for Sunday lunch.Don't think we will be calling in again...

I stated here after a long drive from work. The staff were really nice and were extremely helpful and eager to welcome you. I also needed a meal and the selection was pretty good and the quality was good in the bar downstairs. The room had a wonderful view of the harbour and was functional. It was a bit cold...

Had room 7 which is above the pub - so could hear the beat of music until the pub close and then woken again before 7am. Was then presented with the worst excuse of a breakfast I have ever seen. All that was on offer was a couple of cereal boxes on the side and a bowl of fruit. As...

Pleasant pub with rooms above. Room was fine, no frills but clean and spacious. Only 1 window looking onto a side street so room was a little bit warm. Dined in the pub downstairs, very good service, food quite good and lots of gluten free options, great stuff. Good location, worth a visit.
