A group of us came down from North Wales to stay at The Level Crossing for a cycling/walking weekend. Upon arrival we had a warm and cheery Welsh welcome from Sally who was a perfect host for the weekend, she could not do enough for our group. We found everywhere spotlessly clean and comfortable and along with her Mum she...

A warm friendly welcome from Sally & her team await you at the Level Crossing. We are a group of Sixteen bikers, most in our 40's & we had a great time at this Bunk House. We travel around Wales a lot & we have stayed in a lot of places, this was possibly the best value as of yet...

Great to stay in a clean, bright, comfy and welcoming place run by local people who know the area and are supporting the town. My mum and I stayed in a twin ensuite room and it had everything we needed, plus some reading matter on the area. Really enjoyed a splendid overnight stay, many thanks.

Very helpful in local attractions, where to eat out, and what to see. Sally is an amazing person, always ready to help in any way. She went above and beyond for us. Very central in southern Wales for the national parks (Brecon Beacons, Elan Valley). Castles and churches.

We had an amazing welcome from Sally who made us feel so at home. We only stayed one night but have no hesitation to recommend it, especially if you are sightseeing, it is an excellent base. Our meals were excellent and v reasonably priced.

Great little bar/restaurant downstairs that serves basic meals and a cracking full English. Also plenty of room to park our motorbikes out the front of...

The Level Crossing offers the cyclist a quality night's sleep in clean, modern dorms, or more private rooms, depending on your budget. Staff are friendly, helpful and very welcoming. A treat is the bar, where I was enthralled by the proprietor's chilled Guiness 'magic' trick which has to be seen and sampled after 112miles on the road. The 'luxury hot...

Stopped here for a night in a bed during a long distance walk. Staff were unbelievably friendly and helpful. Room was great and the price even more so. Great place to stay. Nice location just outside the Brecon Beacon's. Looking forward to getting out on the hills.
