It may be the ducks. The giant atrium lobby of this historic hotel is filled with people who are mellow. Ducks march in and out on a regular schedule to putter in the fountain and literally everybody smiles. Or maybe it's the perfect service from desk to kitchen and everywhere in between. Enjoy this landmark on the Mississippi: the great...

I am thrilled to hear that you had a 5-star experience in both the hotel and in our fine dining restaurant, Chez Philippe. The 7-course Chef's Tasting Menu is a wonderful choice! This hotel is more beautiful than the photos.. The ambience is wonderful walking thru the lobby with the classical pianist. The Corner Bar has great Happy hour specials and the ducks were fun to watch. Would definately stay here again one of the best hotels we have stayed in.... but the walls are thin... You can hear everything!!!

Where to begin? During my stay, the Peabody Memphis delivered Southern hospitality and service at its finest – from the bellman to the front desk to the bartenders, I felt welcome. Beyond that, I experienced a sense of pride, among the hotel staff, too, as employees seemed proud to work there. It’s wonderfully located just two blocks from Beale Street....

The Peabody is a beautiful, old hotel. Do not be fooled by the exterior. The lobby is striking, with detailed woodwork, a stained glass ceiling, all anchored by a large fountain in the middle. The rooms, admittedly, are small but nicely appointed. The staff is very accommodating and professional. The hotel can be expensive. It charges a daily fee which...

This is a remarkable hotel in all aspects. from the minute you walk in the service is amazing. The hotel offers all the splendor of a great old-school hotel with a ton of history. It is truly beautiful! I would not hesitate to stay there again when in Memphis. When there, visit Lanskey Brothers Clothing store in the hotel. They...

We tried out all their amenities from room service, coffee service in the morning, and hotel dining spaces. Great location... right in the middle of Beale St. I...

such a beautiful place well staffed and manicured. bathrooms are a little small but remember indoor plumbing was relatively new when this place was built. it's a wonderfully historic place that pricilla presley still stays at i was told. Of course the world famous ducks are marched down to the fountain from the rooftop each morning at 11 and marched...
