The Peabody is likely the most notable hotel in Memphis and is wonderfully located walking distance to BB Kings and the Rendezvous. The lobby has lots of architectural interest with dark wood work, lovely stained glass ceiling panels and the famous fountain in the middle for the twice daily duck walk. Yup, I said it is old and the room...

Me and my wife stayed for one night a couple weeks ago to experience Memphis. This was our preferred hotel based on its location, which really can't be beat. The price was very high, which we were expecting, but just didn't think it was worth that much. The lobby was very nice, and seeing the ducks is a must-do, just...

The location of the Peabody puts you in the heart of downtown and in walking distance to Beale Street and tons of restaurants. The hotel is beautiful, staff helpful and friendly but the standard rooms are small by American standards. The bathrooms, in particular.

Room was small, but very nicely decorated. Comfortable. The duck walk and the story teller was great! There was so much history to see in the hotel. The view from my room was great, but the rooftop patio was extremely nice to view the sunset from.

Nice hotel. The Christmas decor was super nice. Huge tree. And a candy town in the lobby. One of my fav hotels in Memphis. Middle of downtown. I love the horse carriages right outside and access to everything downtown. This is a very old but elegant hotel. Very historic in Memphis. Rooms traditional and classic. Not for modern type of...

I know the Peabody is a famous hotel and the reviews are almost completely positive. That is why I am not sure I need to review it as well. They are correct. This hotel is terrific and the kind of place that one must go ahead and experience. This place is not just the ducks. The service is terrific, the...

I've stayed here before, but this time we were there for the drinks and Garth Brooks concert. The hotel was amazing as always. But, the bar downstairs was the best part. Great cocktails and the best pina coladas ever!

The Peabody lives up to its name. Wonderful property. We stayed on the Club floor. Rooms were clean, very comfortable bed. Linens/towels are awesome! Staff are all great! Location is in the heart of downtown. Very convenient to Beale Street. And, you have the cute, amazing ducks too!

After hearing about this I just had to see if the Peabody ducks really do swim in the lobby fountain. And they do so cute and wonderful to see, and was one of the most beautiful lobby's I have seen. Such a great unique memory of Memphis

The duck ceremony at 11:00 and 17:00 ist a must to see. If you stay there do take a full meal at the very good and beautiful decorated restaurant, Chez Philippe. Both the...
