Thank you very much for such a good review Kenneth. We're glad that you enjoyed your stay here and hope to see you again. Probably the only thing you didn't mention is our new, purpose built, gear drying room.

The hostel is bright and cosy with spacious modern facilities. The owners are wonderful, very friendly and helpful. Despite our very late booking in the low season they kindly opened the hostel for us, switched off the outside lights so we could star gaze, recommended a stunning short walk and even lent us a map. We came as 3 adults...

Stayed at the hostel for just one night on our way further north to 'bag' some Munros. Three of us shared a four birth room with en-suite loo and shower. Exceptionally clean throughout with large kitchen and sitting room. Great hosts and great coffee. Will definitely stay again when in the area. Recommended.

Saddle Mountain Hostel Mandally Road, Invergarry Date of stay: Friday 2 September 2016 After a long drive up to Invergarry from Hawkinge in Kent it was a really nice surprise to be greeted by such an enthusiastic owner of this independent hostel, Gregor Barclay. Grogor made us feel very welcome as he showed us around. We had been allocated Cairn,...

Thanks for the excellent review of our hostel and its facilities. We are happy you enjoyed staying with us and that you have chosen to recommend us to other travellers. For the benefit of future guests it's worth bringing food supplies with you if you want to cook at the hostel as Invergarry only has a small shop.

Really clean and tidy. A warm welcome by Helen. The room for three was nicely made with really good quality mattresses that were quite wide in comparison to other single beds. The highlight is the Kimbo coffee that Helen will make for you fresh from the bean for just £1.50 a cup. Amazing, better than Starbucks etc. It was a...

Helen and Greg are very welcoming and considerate hosts. Great spot to stay, especially if you're cycling around the area! We were able to lock our bikes up somewhere safe and dry out our clothes. Very comfy stay!

Staying at the Saddle Mountain Hostel was one of my first experiences on my Scotland-trip, that showed me, how helpful and caring people can be up there...
