We booked our wedding at Cnoc-na-Faire in February and got married in June and cannot fault the kindness and helpfulness of all staff right from the very beginning. We had a fantastic day and so did our guests. The setting of the hotel is located in a beautiful part of Scotland and we have some great photos of the day...

This hotel was recommended to us by a friend and we were very disappointed. We were there for a special birthday and the hotel hada wedding on that day. We did not receive good service at all (we arrived about 3.30pm and as we came up the drive were asked to come back later when the wedding ceremony was over??!)....

Ate there twice recently, in an intimate and informal bar setting. The food and service was excellent. The owner even offered to call our B&B so he would know of our arrival, and offered suggestions about local, fantastic beaches.

We called by the hotel when the rain was pouring down and we were warmly welcomed and helped to dry off. We stayed for most of the afternoon and had great coffees and chatted with the staff, who gave helpful tourist advice on local attractions. We stayed into the evening and had some nice local beer and had a great...

Visited here for a meal while staying at a local campsite duing the Whit Week school holidays. We visited on the last night of our trip and wish we had visited first night as we would have been back to enjoy the local food. A family of four - the menu catered for all tastes. Adults went for local seafood...

The rooms were immaculate with a named tartan for each. The food was excellent with the locally caught sea food exceptional. The scenery is spectacular all around the hotel and the beaches with the silver sand have to be seen to be believed. At the end of our stay I asked if I could order a taxi to take us...

Had dinner at Cnoc-na-faire last night - 3 May 2011 - with friends. The food and service was excellent. The potato and smoked haddock cake with puy lentils was first class. The main of sea bass was executed to a high standard - the fish being perfectly cooked with a subtle white wine sauce. The scottish brie to finish with...

We wanted a quick fix of white beach, exquisite sunset and some pampering, good food , comfy beds etc. The Cnoc na Faire does its best on all counts. Our room was very tastefully decorated, lovely beds and quite recently updated, I'd say - loved the heated mirror in the bathroom! The views over the islands are quite stunning, although...

Cnoc-na-Faire does not disappoint. It was every bit as good as I had anticipated from my initial visit to their website when looking for accommodation in the local area, my booking enquiry and the booking transaction. There was a great atmosphere in the bar when we arrived (which turned out to be a celebration of calf having been born in...
