We are just back from a Family weekend at the Braefield House which was amazing! The house itself is in a prime location with views to die for and so handy for the local shops, pubs and walking trails. It was in immaculate condition and the bonus for us was that most of the rooms had their own en-suite. The... More

We booked The Braefield for a long week end, using the previous 2 reviews as a guide. We were not disappointed. The Braefield is in a super position overlooking Portpatrick and is just a few minutes walk into town. The room was comfortable, with all the usual TV, tea making facilities, and ensuite shower room. The lounge downstairs was very... More

This B&B stands on a hillside with a few other Victorian villas overlooking Portpatrick harbour. The views from the front-facing rooms and the dining room are just stunning. You can lie in bed and see trees, greenery, pretty rooftops and houses painted many different colours, fishing boats and the sparkling blue waters of the Irish sea beyond. Well, the weather... More

This is a bit sad to admit, but one of the reasons I picked this place is that they have a large private car park (many of the other B&B's in Portpatrick have on street parking only and I’m particular where I leave my car). Anyway, Braefield is located on a steep hill about a 4 minute walk from the... More
