A hotel in a lighthouse! On the end of the North Rhinns peninsula, magnificent scenery and views, bird life to die for, good food and a very warm welcome. Go through Stranraer and then on to the end of the road, then there is a track and at the end you either drive into the sea or stop at the...

The hotel's location is fantastic, and there are stunning views of N Ireland and the Mull of Kintyre at sunset, the food was tasty and the service couldn't have been improved. Thoroughly enjoyed my night's stay.

It's worth the longish drive down to the lighthouse hotel. We spent a night in the Lighthouse Suite, eating in the cosy and welcoming hotel restaurant. Loved the meal. Spotless and comfortable accommodation. Very pleasant and attentive staff. A great relaxing break with long walks easily accessible from the room along the coast. Great location.

My partner and I were on holiday in Garlieston and took a trip out to the lighthouse on our last day. We expected great views but were delighted to find the lighthouse had a restaurant and rooms/suites! We had a delicious lunch and everything was cooked fresh so we had to wait a short while but it was worth it....

My wife and I spent our 20th anniversary here -- it is beautiful! The food served in the lighthouse restaurant was some of the best I have ever had, and the accommodations were pristine! Views were magnificent and the service was better than I have gotten in some 4-star hotels!

To say it should be four star really does not do Coreswold lighthouse Hotel justice. It is just so good. This was our third stay, we went to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and the hotel was better even than the last visit. The staff are well trained and are not happy unless the guests are happy. The whole building including...

Stayed here for 2 nights for my mum's 70th birthday. 4 of us stayed in the Stevenson suit which was fabulous. The food was outstanding, the chefs catered to my Vegan daughters needs with imagination and style. The staff were so friendly and could not do enough to help. My mum said it was the best weekend of her life....

The setting is unique it is not often you get the opportunity to stay in a working lighthouse. The birds nesting on the window ledge adding to the nature interest. The restaurant provided good value with helpful staff. We did expect more from the room which looked a little tired with the on suite being small - to the extent...
