I arrived to a very warm welcome and was shown by Lynn to a beautifully decorated and immaculately clean room. It has a TV, tea and coffee stand with biscuits and a huge bathroom. The shower isn't just clean it's polished up like new! Breakfast was delicious! Had my first try at haggis which I enjoyed. I wish I could...

We stayed at Fernlea whilst visiting elderly relatives in Stranraer. Fernlea was outstanding - it was spotlessly clean with the room in a great decorative order. The bed linen was crisp and white. The shower was great, very large and again so clean. Breakfast was very fresh with the best eggs ever, very creamy. Good to get haggis which is...

I recently stayed at Fernlea on a recommendation from the Old Manse which was happened to be full when I last overnighted on a business trip. I could not fault my hosts, the establishment or their hospitality at all. Nothing was too much trouble. Finally a fabulous breakfast to start the working day topped my stay off nicely.

Friendly checkin and taken up to our room, which was on the small side but had everything you could want. Eveything was sparkling clean and looked nice. We were given good advice on where we might find a nice dinner, got lost and found a local hotel, which was fairly basic, but we were well looked after. Breakfast was served...
