We stayed here the night before getting the ferry. We were travelling with a dog so as always options are limited. This place was perfect. Has had a recent refit, spotlessly clean, fresh and really comfortable bed. The common areas aren't luxurious but a good hearty breakfast and friendly owners. There is a park and beach just across the street...

I booked this guest house for October 15/16 in July of this year while staying here on holiday. I received a phone call on the 14th at 8.30 at night to be told that booking.com had booked out the whole hotel. How could this be when I already had booked a room, there was no whole hotel to be booked....

Just a stopover but the place impressed us.. fact that they have access to a swimming pool is, for me, a giant bonus. Breakfast choice was excellent and food and service was spot on. Rooms have been recently redone and they are both tasteful and practical... you will never run out of plug sockets... Highly commended

We booked a twin (for 2) and a double (for 1) for an overnight stay in Stranraer before the ferry trip to Ireland. The hotel is on the front, facing a nice park and the bay. Parking is either on the street or in a free long stay car park a few yards down the road. The rooms, I must...

Very clean B&B with good facilities. Staff were very welcoming and friendly the whole stay, however at breakfast they could be a bit more attentive. I waited around 40 minutes to pay my bill to check out before deciding to just leave it and pay it later. It's understandable that they were busy but it doesn't take 5 minutes to...
