We stayed over the Easter weekend for 2 nights. The location of Green Hope is absolutely beautiful - peaceful and secluded. The gardens and grounds are beautifully kept by the owners. We arrived at check-in time (4pm) and were slightly confused to find that no one was home, but went for a walk to explore a little around the area...

Really enjoyed our stay in this wonderful b&b situated in a stunning location. Great to get away from the hustle and bustle for a while. Alison and Bill made us feel very welcome and the accommodation suited us perfectly. The breakfasts are superb and lots of home made delicacies. Hope to get back there again in summer.

Alison and Bill have to be among the nicest people I've ever met and this shows in the guest house. From the minute you arrive you are made to feel extremely welcome. The room (apartment) I stayed in was immaculate. The bed was so comfortable I had trouble getting up in a morning! Breakfast is plentiful and tasty. The area...

Alison and Bill made us so welcome on our arrival. Green Hope is in an amazing spot with wonderful views and a peaceful ambience which lets you unwind. The breakfasts were great with plenty of choice and our only regret was that we weren't staying any longer than three nights....

One night stay on our way from Skye with 3 of our children. Kids all said they loved it as Alison made them feel so welcome. It almost felt like staying with family even though we had never met Alison or Bill before. Rooms more than adequate, good shower and comfortable bed. Trampoline and swing ball for kids, fantastic breakfast....

We stayed here for one night this past weekend. It is set in a gorgeous location in the Scottish Borders there is a river out front and great walks to be taken around the property. The garden is a haven for birdwatching. Alison made us feel very welcome when we arrived offering us tea and coffee and taking out breakfast...

This is a lovely quiet location - ideal for some time to spend together. The owners were very attentive and the rooms very comfortable. Will definitely return. Everything you could ask for a relaxing time. Many thanks.

I stayed at Green Hope guest house in February this year whilst on a trip with work. The accommodation is quaint, clean and positioned in a fantastic position overlooking the river. The owners, Bill and Alison, were most welcoming and very helpful. There is self catering kitchen to use which is a big bonus for those looking to cook meals....
