We popped in here for food after a long day hill walking and were in the mood for a good hearty meal. I ordered beef olives and my wife chose beef casserole in a red wine sauce, there was no choice of chips or potatoes. The food arrived both with skinny frozen chips and frozen peas, not very appetising and...

A smashing place! Lovely spacious bedroom with views ,front and side , of the loch and the mountains. Comfortable bed and a nice little separate sitting area. A lovely filling breakfast, just right to set you up for the day climbing up those hills! A warm welcome by all (including the dog!) Saturday ,there was live music in the attached...

Stayed here for one night, lovely staff, beautiful room, with comfortable four poster bed. Bathroom was amazing with a whirlpool bath. Plenty to see and do, lovely walks along Loch Tay nearby, would recommend to everyone!

We attended a Very Special Family Christening here on Sunday. After a wonderful Church Service we retired to this well known local hotel for the celebrations. The Buffet was absolutely first class and the owners could not do enough for us. Therefore all in all it was a wonderful day.

My husband and I stayed in Feb 2017 for 2 nights. We were on the top floor which had lovely views of the river. We ate in the bar the first night and enjoyed our meal which we thought was reasonably priced. The room was spotlessly clean and we enjoyed the small seating area while having a coffee and looking...

Stayed here between Christmas and New Year. The lounge was decorated all festive, lovely place to sit with a hot chocolate and good book. My room was on the top floor, spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfy. Only thing missing was a packet of biscuits for my coffee but I'd eaten too much over Christmas so that's ok!...

old beautiful building, we arrived late and hoped we could still eat something small. disapointment all over, the answer was <NO>. this was the first time in 9 days, that the owner came with the excuse that it was forbidden by law to let small children eat in a pub. please man, be a little flexible, give us a table...

Stayed recently for third time. Lovely hotel, staff very friendly, room clean with great river and mountain views - stayed in Lomond room. As usual, ate evening meal in adjoining pub. Excellent meal and felt good value. Mak a Din playing, great atmosphere and good sing song! Breakfast was good and plentiful. Only complaint, disappointed again that unable to book...

The room was warm and clean. Lovely hot water. Sadly the bathroom fan made a noise like an engine and there was a floodlight in the garden that shone directly through the flimsy curtains onto the bed. The breakfast was less than you would expect when the price is compared to other B&Bs in Killin. No fruit, except for a...

Visited here with an elderly father-in-law who was able to access the premises despite having to walk with a 3 wheeled walker. When we arrived for dinner, we were met by friendly and helpful bar-man who gave first class service throughout our meal, despite getting busy later on. Yes the menu is pub-grub in it's content, but the quality of...
