Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review and delighted to know you felt I gave you my time, sometimes everyone can arrive at the same time and it’s good to know you felt welcomed. Piano is finally in the house and I hope you can come again in the future and play it again. Many...

Not my first stay in Drymen, but this was the nicest place I've stayed in the village. Hospitable hosts, and a mean freshly cooked to order breakfast. Good value, and large comfortable rooms. Only point off is for the tired bathroom decor and slightly anaemic shower.

Stayed on 22nd April as the first stop on WHW and had a great welcome from Chris and Jane, very comfortable beds and the second best (sorry) breakfast of the week - only beaten by fresh trout in Tyndrum. I would highly recommend The Hawthorns and my daughter is planning to use it as a base for future walking,

Jane is the perfect host, especially so for walkers. Warm, welcoming and had anticipated all the things that I was hoping for. The room was huge, the bath was most welcome after a long walk, the opportunity to get some stuff clean and dry, local knowledge...

Our first night in Scotland and we appreciated the warm welcome received. Room was comfortable and when there was an issue with the shower, the owners went out of their way to find a different one to use in the morning prior to our hike.

We spent only one night in this fantastic B&B, we'll for sure come back in the future. We were four and stayed in the family room. The family room was very big, it was actually a flat. The bathroom too was very big. Breakfast was excellent. Private parking was much appreciated. Jane was very friendly, we talked about rugby and...
