Fantastic B & B with helpful, accommodating friendly service. Love the atmosphere the owner has managed to create. Peaceful informal setting that was exactly what we were looking for. The little touches make Kip in the Kirk extra special and worth a stay.

We stayed one night as part of our West Highland Way walk. Frances was a lovely host, it was fully booked but well run with great scones hot from the oven on our arrival. A nice double en suite room with great bathroom. Would recommend it!

Stopped here as phase 2 of West Highland Way few years ago - Frances was great host and amenities most suitable for those hikers amongst us. The scones on arrival are amazing even second time round. I would advise this as a top spot to kip

The shared bunk room is for 12 not 8 as the website states. There is enough hot water, apparently, for 40 minutes to be shared between 12 - not great. The room was cold. It is in an old church, but that is clear only in the entrance hall. A bit of a shame.

Sorry that you were not happy with your stay here. We planned to have a new 4 bedded bunk room open for the Summer, alas - due to unexpected problems with the foundations and the roof it has only just been completed. The only place we could put the 4 extra beds was in the original bunk room. We had...

A perfect stop to stay overnight while doing the West Highland Way. Tea and scones are awaiting you! Dinner is not available but there are a lot of restaurants next door. For all hikers: The hostel is not located directly at the West Highland Way but it is not far to go.

Stayed in the dorm room here on my first night of the West Highland Way, it was bright and airy with plenty of space between comfortable beds. Greeted with lovely homemade scones, and the breakfast was great too, both served at the table with other guests creating a lovely atmosphere. The whole place is spotless and modern and there is...

I stayed at Kip in the Kirk on the first night of my WHW walk, and it was a simply wonderful place! Francis was so welcoming, with tea and fresh scones available right after I arrived. The bed in the bunk room was comfy and the continental breakfast got me started right for a day on the trail. Would definitely...

Staying at Kip in the Kirk was a lovely way to end our first day of walking. We were greeted by Francis with delicious home made scones and a cuppa - just what we needed. We shared a lovely twin room with a very spacious adjoining bathroom. Only a very short walk to a choice of restaurants or pubs for...
