The hotel rooms were newly renovated, but it didn't seem like it were done very properly. You have to go to the hotel across the street to collect the key and for the breakfast. We stayed at this house because of the area, so all in all it was sufficient.

I have been staying in Glenbruar House on a Friday night, while doing the West Highland Way. Since they haven't had a free single room on that night, they have booked me into a double en-suite one instead for the same price. The room was great, and although facing the main road, I haven't heard a thing and slept well...

We recently stayed here on a walking holiday. Having arranged to arrive late we were pleasantly surprised when the B&B called to check if we were eating en route as the local restaurants stopped serving before we got there. Not knowing the area we were offered a light supper on arrival of homemade soup, sandwiches, cake and coffee which was...

This was the 4th B& B we had stayed in in Scotland. Friendly host and good breakfast but much was not in order. Ceiling light in bathroom was out of action. The curtains did not run smoothly on their tracks so trying to close them was not easy. The TV only gave ordinary channels. No Sky signal was available and...

Had booked a double bedded room nearly two months in advance and had it acknowledged only to be told on arrival that it was not available - reason because other guests had arrived for two nights rather than our one and received preference. Room was grubby and the 'wardrobe' bathroom not clean. Room very noisy especially with trucks all night...

We stayed one night at this B&B after travelling all day from South London so we just wanted a good place to rest our heads which it certainly was. The breakfast was fine - I had the cooked option. The room was quite tight with not a lot of space on the side of the bed, bathroom very clean and...
