Haven't been to the drovers for about 25 years and I won't let it be another 25 years until I visit again. I am pleased to say it hasn't changed a bit apart from the new menus. I have read comments about how it needs...More

We were hiking the West Highland Way and absolutely had to stop here after reading about this place. It helped that Inverarnan was also the perfect stopping point. Just walking up to the place sets the perfect tone for a Scotland trip. This beautiful old...More

We stayed in the newer rooms across the street from the original old inn. The room we stayed in desperately needed updates. The first thing you notice when you enter the room is the stained carpeting. While dogs are welcome everywhere, establishments should recognize that...More

Definitely worth a visit, lovely home cooked food, very old and quirky pub, lots of taxidermy which is slightly off putting in the smaller restaurant room. Dogs welcome 🐶which is great for us. Friendly staff and on the doorstep of some good walks.

Could anyone who has either stayed or visited in August give me some feedback on midges in the area. I'm hovering my mouse over the 'book' button and this is the only doubt preventing the click! P.S. Any other feedback on the area also gratefully received.

I did not stay in August, however, there is a place Nextdoor to the Drover's we liked MUCH better. Drover's is really grubby.

Stay in one of the far nicer hotels/b&bs nearby for the view, otherwise you are in for a truly grotty experience.
