The position of the hotel is ideal with lovely view of the loch however the building interior is very dated and sorry to say not very clean. The hotel could do with an make over however is this would be reflexed in the price paid. I booked a one night stayed with myhotelbreaks.com and for £99 paid for two people...

Stayed here for 1 night and the best thing about the hotel is the amazing view and the lovely staff. I was lucky to have a loch side view which is stunning. I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the hotel is dated, run down and in dire need to a refurbishment. My room wasn't particularly...

On arrival I noticed that every carpet downstairs looked like hadn't seen a Hoover in days. In fact going upstairs to my room that was the look of every carpet in the building. Walking along the corridor you see the uneven floorboards that you try to avoid cause you sink into them. It's like being on a trampoline lol Top...

Booked a last minute overnight stay at the Arrochar Hotel. We had not been to Arrochar before and were pleasantly surprised at how nice and peaceful it was. The hotel was great . Booked a last minute dinner bed and breakfast . It is an unpretentious hotel in a great location and it was very comfortable . We upgraded to...

We booked a standard double room for one night. Reception was good, but the room turned out to be at the back with no view, and, moreover, it was rather hot in the room (due possibly to the sunny weather). However the window could not be opened more than 2 inches, and this was as intended. In some past a...

*Disclaimer - We got a full refund for our bad experience* We arrived around 6pm to check in. Check in started OK, until the coach tour arrived back, our check in was interrupted by rude guests asking for their key's for their rooms with no respect for us checking in, this was not managed very well by the receptionist, guests...

The rooms are definitely in need of renovation - all tired. Everything was clean and the linen was fresh - need new pillows though. The problem with some of these old hotels are paper thin walls - I could hear the conversation next door and with creaking floorboards above, I wondered if my fellow neighbours were ever going to get...

Where do I even begin! We stayed at Arrochar last week for two nights. On arrival we were told that the rooms are not ready and that the check in is at 3pm. Fair enough we were there two hours earlier. I asked the receptionist if we could have some food, we had our 20 month old son with us...

I spent two nights last week in hot weather for June. Sadly my single room was at the back of the hotel so no view but the views from the restaurant and bar are simply breath taking. Room was ok. hot shower. Kettle to make a cuppa. Room was clean, bedding clean, bed comfortable. Bathroom could have done with a...
