Spent a couple of nights here and we loved it. The view we were greeted with, after opening the curtains on our first morning, was spectacular, the snow topped Arrochar Alps being such a contrast to our city view at home. We were treated to a light breakfast before going for a hike on our first morning, and the full...

This was our first stop in Scotland after long drive from Manchester. What a beautiful little cottage and such a warm welcome from Irene and Hubby Bill for us and our friends. Our rooms were spotless and the view from our window was fabulous (even though we had to wait until morning to experience it) Breakfast was typical Scottish and...

We stayed here for three comfortable nights in September. Wonderful warm welcome from Bill and a cooked full Scottish breakfast to match, if you want a lighter breakfast there is juice, fruit, cereal and toast. We were in room 2 which is spacious and comfortable with all the usual tea and coffee fixings. There is a lovely comfortable lounge for...

We were greeted by Bill who immediately made us feel at home. Our room (no.2) had amazing views over the loch and had a window seat and a settee. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom large with a shower. There is also a very nice residents lounge downstairs. Bill cooked us a lovely breakfast in the morning to...

We chose Arrochar as an overnight stop on the way to Isle of Bute to give us an extra day on the island. It was easy to find from good directions, not far to go to find a nice meal at a decent price and off road parking. Was expecting a ground floor room, but managed the few stairs to...

Wonderful B&B, I would definitely recommend to anyone traveling up that way. Stayed for 1 night in May, Bill was extremely helpful during our stay. Very warm and welcoming! Both rooms were lovely, clean and spacious, as were the bathrooms. Both rooms had a small TV and lovely views onto the sea/loch below. The breakfast in the morning was absolutely...

A friend and I spent two nights here a couple of weeks ago and had a marvellous time. The atmosphere was so pleasant and the cooked breakfast was the perfect size, complemented by the cereal and yoghurt available alongside. Bill, the owner, was happy to make breakfast according to what time we wanted it, which was of great help on...

We decided to break our journey to the Isle of Skye near Loch Lomond and Rowantree Cottage was chosen as it was 'dog friendly'. As it turned out, we couldn't have chosen better! Bill is an excellent host - we couldn't have had a warmer welcome or felt more looked after - a really nice guy! It was our dog's...
