We paid a bit extra to stay in a suite with a stunning sea view. The room was comfortable, clean and nicely decorated. There is a pleasant lounge downstairs and a small bar. The breakfast was good quality and freshly cooked to order. We got tickets for Mount Stuart House at a reduced rate from the hotel (a must see...

Turned out to be a good option for our short stay a couple of weeks ago. Not luxurious but we weren't looking for such. As it was, it was clean, warm and comfortable, with stunning views, (at least from the sea facing rooms), and a truly superb breakfast. Add in a convenient location, a friendly greeting and service from the...

Lovely small hotel overlooking Loch Striven. My room was a single but adequate for my needs and was equipped with the usual tea/coffee making facilities , although the room house coat was a nice, if unexpected touch. The room itself was comfortable and clean and the use of the private shower/toilet across the hall took a bit of getting used...

Our room had a 4 poster bed with fantastic views, was clean, and we really enjoyed breakfast. Well located. Our car broke down as we were due to leave and we were allowed to use...

The Bayview was an unforgettable travelling experience with excellent accommodation but even more importantly very friendly owners who made you feel as though you were in their home as guests. The views were outstanding at least in my accommodation which had the Harbor-view. In addition the included breakfast was excellent with local produce on offer including the excellent sausages from...

Me and my fiancée stayed here for two nights in March as we were at a friends wedding for the weekend. The owner was so nice and couldn't have made me feel more comfortable. She helped with everything and even helped in the middle of the night with issues as we arrived late due to travel issues. She even offered...

Accommodation here was second to none without paying the earth. Nothing was too much for he proprietors. Evening meals were optional . Advice where to go a plenty. Things to do must include the Island tour bus for the history and walks. We went for the golf and trust me Rothsey must have one of the most fantastic views in...

Stayed at the hotel for two nights, as we found across the island we were made to feel very welcome. We had the four poster room which had a fantastic view. The room was very clean and well presented. The breakfast was very enjoyable, with a range of cereals, hot food and toast. There was free parking in front of...

We spent a couple of nights at this wonderful small hotel while in Rothesay to attend the highland games. Unfortunately it rained for the entire weekend but we loved the hotel. Breakfast choice is great and caters for vegetarian options. Located right on the waterfront.
