We just popped in for lunch on our journey. So glad we did. Staff were very welcoming. The fish pie was clearly made by someone who knew what they were doing. Delicious. Lovely atmosphere. Some other folk just popped in for the whisky - great wee shop and tasting options here. Will be back.

We were a little apprehensive on arrival as the outside of the hotel looked like a work in progress, how deceptive first impressions can be - inside you will find friendly, professional staff, quirky rooms and the most amazing food . The DBB offers over the winter period are not to be missed, excellent value, would definitely visit again

Got a great winter deal, probably all been said, lovely people, excellent food, best cooked breakfast I have experienced. The lounge area is thankfully different and interesting, obviously a lot of work goes into malt whisky, gin displays etc, yes if you wish to buy can be expensive however many are unique and worth it, also prompts observation and discussion....

The food is of such a high standard and beautifully presented. The snug was so cosy and relaxing and nothing was rushed. The whisky and gin selections are amazing and the staff are so...

Can't fault this hotel. It has an awesome menu. I had the tastiest, cheesiest lasagne and can not wait to come back to Scotland and visit this establishment again. It also has a great whisky bar and shop. The service is great here and the meals were fresh and quick.

My partner and I took advantage of an overnight Dinner, bed & breakfast stay at this lovely characterful coaching inn, that is quaint and lives and breathes history. From the moment we checked in, Lauren couldn't be more helpful, attentive and professional and was truly a masterclass in how great customer service should be done. The themed rooms, which are...

Thank you so much for taking the time to write this fantastic review on your recent stay here, Lauren is an excellent asset to us and her knowledge of wine and whisky is certainly at a high standard, luckily you didn't get her talking about Gin as she is also, if not more a bit of an expert on that...

Recommended by a friend. Excellent service, relaxed atmosphere, friendly yet very professional staff. Handled every request with grace, style and smiles. The restraunt is outstanding.
