Firstly I must mention the owners who welcomed me and made me feel at home. I stayed in MacLeod, a single room which had lovely views of part of the garden. The breakfasts were enormous and filling. Set me up for a long day when I attended a family wedding. I loved reading the history of the house and its... More

Good quality, clean, traditional bed and breakfast. Good location for touring and for the Crinan canal. Quiet and relaxing ambience. Friendly lady owner. Super breakfast Mattress rather too soft for us.

Torrential rains and galeforce winds heralded our arrival at Allt-Na-Craig. The Guest House, the warm welcome and the splendid views more than made up for the weather. Our room was large, comfortable and very clean. The whole house was most impressive and beautifully furnished. The owners were very welcoming and helpful. We only stayed one night as we were en... We stayed in the Buchanan, a large room at the front left of the house overlooking the Loch and gardens. Great views to wake up to and the morning light in the garden was great. Large tub/shower combination in the en suite with artisanal type soap which smelled great. The house is Victorian and matches the photos on the website... More

Spent a wonderful night here at Allt-na-Craig. Very clean and comfortable, excellent breakfast with lovely public rooms. The lounge was equally ideal either for doing some work or relaxing and reading about the fact that Kenneth Graham (Wind in the Willows) was born there. The YotSpot nearby provided a superb dinner, fish choices highly recommended.

We stayed overnight on our way to Islay and had a very comfortable stay. The owners were lovely and very warm - we also had tea and cake upon our arrival which was very welcoming after a long journey. We absolutely loved the house which was fabulously decorated and interestingly furnished. Our breakfast was beautifully cooked and presented and we... More

I cannot praise the friendliness, helpfulness and attention to detail of our hosts enough. My friend and I stayed for two nights in comfortable, well appointed rooms with fantastic views. Breakfast consisted of a wide variety of local produce, deliciously cooked. I will return!

It was lovely to receive a warm welcome and the offer of tea as we arrived at All Na Craig after a long journey that ended with driving rain. This is a beautiful old house, with lovely gardens and the prospect of red squirrels and pine martins. The stunning loch view and the welcoming hosts make the slightly jaded decor... More

I was very warmly welcomed by Philip, the owner, who asked after my day. He took my bags to my room for me (I'd told him I'd had a spine op) and he ensured I remembered everything from my stay 5 years before (with different owners). He also brought up loads extra milk and teabags as I explained I get... More

We stayed in the Stewart room and it was lovely with a great view. When we arrived, jet lagged and tired, Philip made us feel so welcome. He made us a pot of tea and it was SO appreciated. The room, the sleep, breakfast were just what we had hoped for. We ate at a small place about 5 minutes... More
