We stayed a single night on April 29, 2017 and were very happy to with the accommodations and the food! Bruce and Heather took great pride in their property and were very gracious and welcoming. We would have stayed another night, but the hotel was booked full. Clean, everything worked (saying a lot for a hotel built in the late...

Just dropped in for a one night stay and found a little gem. Had a front room with gorgeous view watching the sun set over the water. Booked for dinner on site and was not disappointed. Staff were very friendly and helpful with advice on the surrounding attractions ie the Ferry to Islay details. Even advised the best ferry to...

We read some mixed reviews before deciding to go here for a family dinner. Glad we went! The food was very tasty, portions generous, staff friendly & attentive. Pizza was home-made & tasty. Smoked haddock pasta from the specials board was delicious & very filling. Lovely views over the water. Great selection of bottled beers to choose from. Special shout...

Well it's not...there used to be 20 or more malt whiskies. There used to be fantastic artwork all over the hotel...there used to be brilliant customer service from Murdo and Co...there used to be a lovely locally inspired menu...it used to be value for money...yes it was a bit run down, but still had some class...could be so much more...it...

My wife and I have just spent one night in this hotel. We used to be regular customers but haven't visited for 6 or 7 years. We had a lovely room on the ground floor looking straight to sea. The decor was fresh and we noticed that there had been a heating system upgrade. We had a glass of wine...

It's a quiet night, a table booked and taking 9 people out for dinner which was okay. Not the best food but certainly not the worst food. One friend was staying at the hotel so we decided after our meal to sit back and spend some money at the bar, nothing extravagant mostly coffee and soft drinks, one person with...

Stayed at the grey gull whilst visiting friends, hotel clean comfortable and all the people made us so welcome. Help and advice given to us during minor health concern. Views of the loch from the front rooms has to be seen to be believed. Restaurant spacious and the food provided can't be faulted. Will certainly return soon.

We went to a wedding at Crear and stayed here. The staff were friendly and the food was good but the rooms are needing work. We had a couple of issues with last food orders ( we didn't get dessert) and there were no eggs for breakfast!!
