Well we have passed this road end dozens of times. Can't believe what we were missing. Great food. Great service. Reasonable prices. Cosy premise. And we got to see the rooms which were also lovely. Be assured we will be back !

What a Gem, Scottish hospitality at it's best, lovely polite staff, extras in the room such as iron, ironing board & power shower, were great touches especially the full sky subscription, as some nights we just wanted to chill in our room with a bottle of wine. The food is lovely with a large selection on the breakfast menu which...

Very good facilities, clean and comfortable rooms. But what made it special for me was the staff, very polite and exceptional customer service, favourite person was Dawn she made everyone feel important and welcome. Would recommend staying here, great value for money.

Beautiful hotel to stop off for a feast of a Sunday lunch, really generous meat helping served by the chef then fill your plate yourself with everything else. Great taste and great value at just under a tenner. Small negative desserts are £5 I felt a bit annoyed at this once found out the price as it was a microwaved...

The hotel facilities were very good and all the staff very friendly and welcoming. The food was also spot on and the smoked haddock and poached eggs for breakfast were to die for. The hotel was quiet due to the time of year but would visit again in the summer months. The bird life, seal colony and sand dunes down...

Food is very pretty good, chips were not very good, service was very slow and orders came out at different times. Menu is lovely and just some attention to detail would make the food outstanding. worth a visit but don't have high expectations.

This is the 2nd time I've stayed in Newburgh Inn and I've already booked for December. Negative We had a family meal for 5. The starters were OK, but the beef on 2 of the main courses was inedible and there was a hair in the sauce. Positive Our complaint about the food was dealt with quickly. Our room was...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
You'll love the choice here at The Newburgh Inn. As well as wonderful pub-food classics such as handmade Aberdeen Angus Beef Burgers and locally landed hand-battered North Sea haddock and homemade chips, we also offer some modern twists. Bring the kids along, too. As a family-friendly pub, we pride ourselves on providing good food for the little ones as well. So we offer smaller portions of some of our main dishes, as well as a dedicated set price menu Our chefs work closely with our suppliers daily and weekly sourcing our fresh produce from within a 50 mile radius of our premises. We support and invest in our local farmers and industry, purchasing only the freshest local produce each and every day. We work with our suppliers to ensure that we have a manageable and sustainable source of produce which is environmentally farmed. Co-owner Martin can often be found traipsing through farms checking out the produce for quality and looking at the current farming methods. ... more   less
