Dave and Angela really make this place special with a warm welcome, great stories and great tips. The room was on the small side and was a little noisy early in the evening being on the street but very quiet by sleeping time. Beds very comfortable and lovely breakfasts. A great location being right near the town of Braemar but...

Unfortunately, even though we booked 5 months ago and was on our honeymoon, we were shown to Room 5 which is absolutely too small and should only be used as a single room. No room to move at all. The shower room was so small you could not stand outside the shower to dry yourself or use the tiny basin....

Thank you for your comment in relation to your stay in room 5. We are well aware that both room 5 & room 6 are small rooms and therefore we offer them at considerably less than the larger rooms. We have been advised by VisitScotland that they do meet their requirements, however we are in the process of planning to...

The Craiglea was a lucky find. I hadn't read any reviews, just 'lucked' it. My sister and I had the most spacious, spotless room. A very pretty outlook over a quiet part of town, off the main road. The hosts were so kind and they work seamlessly as a team. The breakfasts were to die for and enormous. Off street...

Craiglea was an excellent stop for my wife and I with two friends from Canada. Our hosts were vey helpful and welcoming and our accommodation was comfortable and warm. Breakfast was superb. The recommendation for dinner at Braemar Golf Club was welcome and the Club lived up to the recommendation with a well cooked meal and good beer too.

An ideal spot with ideal hosts, with a really informed knowledge of local attractions and facilities. They know this area well, and tell it like it is. We like to cycle and to walk, and we received lots of advice.

We went to Braemar for 2 days of mountain walking, and needed somewhere to stay. Craiglea proved an ideal base. Easy to find, warm welcome, comfortable room, good breakfast, and all at a very good price. We had little need of the drying room as we chose a warm sunny day for our first walk, but it would be a...

We stayed in room 6 and were very disappointed. The room iitself was very small, nowhere to put our suitcase. The beds were hard and uncomfortable and the en suite was tiny. The owners themseves are very nice and helpful and the breakfast was lovely.

On arrival Dave and Angela welcomed us into there B&B, straight away my 2 children felt very at home immediately. The room was large enough with lots of drawers and a cupboard to put all of our skiing clothing in. The beds were comfortable and the en-suite was a nice size. The wifi allowed us all to catch up on emails...
