I simply do not have the words to do justice in describing my stay at Callater Lodge. Wonderful, warm welcome from wonderful hosts. Beautiful rooms and grounds. Magnificent Scenery. Spotlessly clean, comfortable room with a view. Peaceful sitting room to enjoy their incredible range of whiskies available, expertly recommended and described to you before ordering. Katy & Julian have created...

Spent two nights here recently - the first time that I had stayed in Braemar, and chose this place on recommendation - and so pleased that I did. Simply put, the owners have created a wonderful Guest House - offering first rate accommodation (beds are extremely comfortable, superb breakfast and the whole house is spotlessly clean), but what makes it...

Our second visit, this time with our son. We arrived late and left early (after an excellent continental breakfast left out) for a long walk but were greeted and welcomed very warmly by Julian and Katy. Lovely room for the two of us at the front - large, beautifully decorated and quiet. As two of us were starting a 2...

My husband and I stayed in the Derry room, quite small but immaculately clean, warm, comfortable bed, and tasteful. Julian welcomed us and gave great advice on where to eat and walk locally. Wish we had longer. Breakfasts great selection and well done.No hesitation in recommending and would love the opportunity to visit again.

Genuine hospitality in so many understated ways best describes our experience at the Callater Lodge. The enthusiastic inn keepers were a wealth of knowledge and kept quite busy assuring all their guests a comfortable and memorable stay. The sitting room and its ample bay window were well enjoyed for either an afternoon tea or whiskey. The innkeeper was knowledgable and...

The B&B is run by a lovely couple. They are more than happy to book you a table in one of the restaurants nearby even though we haven't found it necessary. The room is not very large but fine for a short stay. You have an ensuite bathroom. You choose what you prefer to get for your breakfast being it...

We spent 2 nights in the guesthouse and are already making plans to go back! The owners, Katy and Julian, really go the extra mile to make sure that the guests are happy. They're passionate about the area and can give you lots of tips on places to see and hill walking. Our room (Cluny) was very spacious, the bed...
