I cannot say enough good things about Cranford Guest House. Alastair and Sara were incredible. We stayed there in September for the Braemar Gathering. The location is excellent and the rooms were exceptional. The breakfasts each morning were the best we had while in Scotland....More
Lovely welcome from Sarah who showed us to our cosy (Room 3) with a special treat of chocolate brownies on arrival! Clean and functional, with a comfortable bed and good wifi. Fantastic breakfast which is pre-ordered the night before with a good choice. Close to...More
My wife and I stayed two nights/days in Cranford Guest House. Alastair welcomed us - earlier than their opening hour in the afternoon. He told us everything we needed to know about Braemar and hiking in the mountains nearby.

Hi John and Marilyn,
Alastair and I bought Cranford in February 2010, and are now entering our 6th season..! We hope to be here for many years to come. I'm not sure who owned the Guest House in 2006; there were a lot of changes in ownership over that time. We would be really pleased to have you and your family to stay; our accommodation now comprises:
1 small twin ensuite
1 twin/kingsize ensuite
1 double ensuite
1 twin with private bathroom
1 family room ensuite (1 double and 1 or 2 singles)
As you can see, we couldn't accommodate you all but extra accommodation can be found close by.
We are already fully booked from 3rd - 7th September this year as the Braemar Gathering is always the first weekend in September.
Let us know when you have more idea of when you would like to come and we can check our availability.
Sarah and Alastair
You can find our website if you search for Cranford Guest House Braemar, it won't let me add a link in this reply..

"Some rooms overlook the main road, but there is little heavy traffic and it isn't noisy."
