Traveling with a small group of 5 and had our dinner there as the town was shut down early and it was included in our tour.... the server said he was covering for the pub as well...and that was about the last time we saw him! He did take our order after we flagged him down...the meal (steak) was horrible!...

This hotel boasts a beautiful view and that is true; however that is the only positive thing I can say. There is a permeating odour of musty, mildew throughout, even worse in the dining room. Breakfast is blah. Our room had a large window facing the view, unfortunately the path to the other rooms ran right in front and everyone...

A poor hotel, small bedroom and rather dirty and smelly public areas. Needs a complete refurb as general ambiance was poor. Staff were friendly and breakfast good but B and Bs were a much better option on our trip.

I have read some of the reviews and can't believe the experience we've just had this weekend at this hotel. We were celebrating my mother in laws 80th birthday and we booked last November looking forward to travelling to stay in an area she enjoyed while hill walking some years ago. It was in a word - awful! They new...

Thank you for your detailed feedback. We take all feedback very seriously. I am disappointed to read your comments as guest satisfaction is very important to us. I am sorry you felt there was a lack of interest in your mother-in-law’s 80th birthday weekend. The Manager informs me that it was mentioned during the booking process but no special request...

An excellent spot for exploring this remote part of Scotland. The room was very good. It was quiet, had an en suite with shower and was located in a building at the rear of the hotel. The food was OK/average. I would go back.

Stayed here for one night while on the North Coast 500. Room was lovely and compact but had everything you needed. Very comfortable bed and lovely down duvet. Had an evening meal which was lovely, restaurant was full but they managed to squeeze us in. Would recommend and would go back if in the area again.

I've not stayed in this hotel, only frequented the bar. 'Very' and friendly, attentive and helpful. Food portions are too big (for me anyway) and tasty and good menu diversity. If you are in the area it is well worth dropping in and sampling.

Hotels in the Scottish Highlands can be a bit of a hit or miss - this one is definitely a hit! Rooms are compact but comfortable in all respects - food first class. Both our evening meal and breakfast exceeded expectations. Would definitely go again. Good homely atmosphere in the bar (Bit surprised to see no craft gins though!).
