We were in Poolewe to see the famous Inverewe Gardens and had booked at Bruach Ard based on its reviews. We followed the wee road from Poolewe along the western side of the loch and thanks to the well-thought-out directions found the house without difficulty. The first impact was of course the fantastic view across the loch. Second impact was...

We stayed at Bruach Ard for two nights. It was a lovely room, decorated with great sheets. The guest lounge had a great view over the sea, a lot of DVDs and games and comfy sofas for a nice evening. The hosts were kind and lovely - we felt at home from the first second. The breakfast was extraordinary and...

We had a great night's stay here. Lovely accommodation and a great breakfast, well cooked by Allan. He and Delwyn are great hosts. We didn't want to travel too far for an evening meal so went to the Poolewe Hotel - food okay but a rather Faulty Towers experience altogether! Worth bearing in mind that it is some distance from...

Travelling along the north-west coast of Scotland we stayed one night in this lovely B&B. We had a luxurious room with amazing views of Loch Ewe and an access to a spacious and comfortable lounge. We spend only one night but it was a very good experience. The room was very very clean and Delwyn and Allan were thoughtful and kind. We had a lovely breakfast talking to Allan, who gave us tips and lots of information about their life there. It was very interesting. Delwyn was so kind to book for us a table...

Very comfortable rooms with fantastic views overlooking Loch Ewe. Great communications with the hosts before leaving for Scotland! Warm & friendly with lots of local advice offered, especially the drive north to the end of the narrow road for fantastic views of the loch and highlands, and for the history of the Russian supply posts during WWII. Great to watch...

On a short trip to the west with elderly mum, this was the perfect place to stay. David and Delwyn are great hosts, an immaculate house and with views 2nd to none. I would heartily recommend anyone to stay at Burach Ard.
