Loved the hotel, gorgeous setting! The staff were really helpful and provided great service. I had dinner and breakfast here and it was fabulous!! Only criticism I would have is room WiFi is poor which isn't a big deal when you're in beautiful place like this!

Arrived Sunday 19th March for an overnight DB&B. Checked into our room which was a not bad size, and had a not too bad view out the large window although the decor and furniture was very dated. So far so good. Went into the toilet to find it had not been cleaned (both things!!). Headed down to the pool and...

Absolute shambles of a place. When first driving in was beautiful and hotel entrance and dining areas are lovely. But before entering bedroom 105 spotlight was out it's socket. Room door was jammed. Inside carpets was old, gathering and threadbare at bathroom door with nails exposed. Tiles broken and bathroom was generally very dirty around taps and shower screen was...

Would never visit this hotel or recommend again. Such a disappointment. Service was ok on arrival, disappointment quickly set in once we found our room, it was like stepping back in time, the bed looked like it should be in a squat! I don't like to moan so we unpacked and went for dinner, the meal was lovely but the...

Many thanks to the staff at Airth Castle for making our stay such a great one. This was our first visit and it is a hotel we would happily return to. We were welcomed on our arrival and given an information sheet with all of the important points for an enjoyable stay. Our room was excellent. It was clean, spacious,...

Unfortunately, my room (136) was in a time warp and I was transported back to the 1970's. Very old fashioned furniture, wall coverings, and the carpet was awful. There wasn't even a headboard on the bed. The hotel wifi didn't reach to my room which is very annoying when you're on business. My room was really really disappointing. I was...

I write this review on behalf of a group of 6 people. We had twice previously stayed at the hotel for New Year so had a good idea of the standards we could expect. we took 3 rooms and stayed 2 nights cost over two thousand pounds. We experienced problems with all three rooms, no hot water, lights not working...

Words cannot describe how awful this hotel is! Booked to stay in one of their castle rooms after hearing such great things about the hotel. Upon arrival the receptionist asked our name, gave us a room key and said it's outside! No proper welcome, have you been before? General politeness. We walked over to the castle and had great difficulty...

Spent one night in this hotel and we were pleasantly surprised (having seen some poor reviews) by all aspects of our stay. On arrival, the girl on reception could not have been more pleasant and helpful. Our room was warm, spacious, fully equipped with comfortable beds, plenty of hanging and drawer pace, iron, ironing board, hairdryer, lovely soft white towels,...
