We stayed for six nights and had a wonderful time at Balmeanach House. Arlene made us feel at home and her breakfast was great. The rooms are lovely decorated, the bathroom is tiny but newly refurbished and sophisticated. We'd love to return to your wonderful B&B!!

And we'd love to have you back, Susanne and Sven - and your two beautiful dogs! Thank you so much for a lovely review. Hopefully, when you return, the weather will be a little kinder... Not that the weather stopped you, anyway. I think Bailey, our golden retriever, is missing your Sami! Thank you again - and for being lovely guests.

We highly recommend this B&B to anyone staying on the Isle of Skye. We only wish that we planned 2 nights. The hosts were so friendly and accommodating. The room had everything that we could possibly need, even a tiny fridge! The bed was quiet and comfortable and we had the

Wow! Thank you so much. Hope the jam turns out okay. Isn't Bailey just the best ambassador we could have? Does an amazing job of 'meet and greet' 😄 We're so glad you enjoyed your all too brief time with us. Thanks again

You were both so welcome. Are you home now with Dalia? I'm sure she was very pleased to see you back! I'm glad we helped make you some good memories. I'm sure Bailey is convinced we only have visitors come here to give home new friends! Thank you for taking the trouble to write a review, especially such a nice one.

John is a welcoming and helpful host even driving us to a nearby restaurant. However, as another reviewer mentioned, it is less welcoming to be asked to take your shoes off (on cold tiles) as soon as you arrive and with nowhere to sit to take them off or put them back on. The

Thank you for your review, Donna. I'm slightly perplexed as to why you feel £44.00 for a night's stay in en suite accommodation, with a full breakfast included is expensive? There was a folding chair in the porch, which, unfortunately, you obviously didn't notice. I usually point it out to guests if I feel they are of an age to need it, but never gave it a thought with you, for which I apologise. I'm very sorry you seemed to have a problem with me, although it wasn't apparent at the time, especially, when I offered you a lift to the Three Chimneys restaurant, 8 miles away, saving you approximately £25.00. The rest of your review is so unpleasantly aimed at me that a response is unnecessary.

The I'm so glad you enjoyed it, Barbara. We enjoyed having you all to stay in our home. Everyone seems to like my porridge! I was taught how to make it that way by a lady from the outer Hebrides - real 'highland' porridge. It's nice to know she did a good job!😊
