We had two wonderful nights stay at Hotel Eilean Iarmain. We had one of their cottage rooms with a living room and bedroom upstairs. The views from the room are stunning. when we were there it was -4 outside but in our room it was cosy and warm. We never got the chance to try the restaurant but we did... More

The Eilean Larmain Hotel on the south of Skye is set in an amazing beautiful setting which is easily accessed from the Bridge & Ferry. It has got character & style in abundance, the rooms & public areas are warm & inviting and the food in the restaurant & in the bar is excellent quality & value. (Look out for... More

Thank you so much for your review of our hotel. We are delighted to hear you had such a nice time with us. The whole team work very hard to maintain high standards and make our guests feel welcome and a 'home from home'. Our hog roast has been particularly popular of late, (especially with a wintery warm mulled cider)... More

We booked 2 nights at the Eilean Iarmain Hotel via an Itison internet deal. The hotel is easy to reach from either the Mallaig to Armadale ferry or from the Skye Bridge. On arrival we were warmly greeted and shown to our studio which is located in a row of cottages across the road. The Room was warm and there... More

Second night of our mini tour of Scotland, Arrived in the dark, missed the turning. Apon arrival were greeted by Mary, very friendly and approachable. We got a upgrade to a sea view as it was my partners birthday. The room was warm, welcoming, the hotel has its own distillery, you get a complementary miniature to sample or keep. The... More

Tapadh leibh airson ur teachdaireachd. We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us. We are glad your enjoyed the food our whisky. As you mentioned, and which we advertise, we do not have TVs in the vast majority of the bedrooms or the public bar - we feel that this detracts from the old world atmosphere... More

Stayed for just one night travelling back home following a 'Hebridean Tour' of which the Eilean Iarmain was a definite highlight. The setting on the edge of the loch down a narrow is spectacular yet there was still much activity on the water, with local fishermen preparing their boats. As a group of 7, we tried a number of rooms... More

Thank you so much for your review. We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed your stay in one of our suites (at one time many moons ago horse stables). As you say, the uninterrupted views over to the Knoydart hills and beyond is quite something. We are glad you enjoyed the wee dram which was waiting for you; our... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stay with you. The hotel is fabulous, the fires were so welcoming and warming,. We were upgraded to the stable block across the road from the main building. My second stay here - excellent again. The staff are really nice, the food is terrific (try the braised beef!) and the rooms are comfortable. The views are pretty good too! One small point - the hot water could've been hotter, but frankly that's overshadowed by all the other great stuff.

We stayed in one of the suites (couple and 13 yr old son) amazing views and an unequalled setting! Very comfy for us and our son said the pull down settee would have been great for him if the mattress had been a bit thicker😊 For us, the accommodation had everything - stunning views (we watched a sea otter swimming... Beautifully located and blissfully quiet but if you are on a whistle stop tour of Skye, then Sleat is very remote from the other attractions. We feel we should have been told when booking that our room was in an adjacent building. The room which others have described as "quaint", was like staying in an elderly relative's bedroom. I expected... More

We were determined to stay here after visiting the craft and tweed shop here on a previous trip, and this year had the chance to book for a couple of nights at the beginning of our holiday, before moving on to a self-catering cottage.
