Had a nice 2 night stay- owner Ruth is a lovely friendly lady, the place was clean and comfortable. Parking was a bit tricky at times. For me the only downside was too many 'smellies' (like plug in diffuser type things) around the place and in the room which I had to unplug straight away as they give me bad...

Stayed at Braeside for one night on Friday 4th Nov (£70). I wasn't going to book anywhere in Portree due to the time of year but after reading some posts online I decided to book ahead just in case. Went for the Braeside (using booking.com) due to unavailability of some hotels and the cost of the others. I haven't stayed...

Great little B&B in an ideal location close to the harbour. Rooms were well equipped and comfortable but quite small you need lots of room to move around. All the bedrooms are up stairs so watch your head if you are tall. There is no parking so you need to be on the look out for a nearby spot. Although...

We were happy with our stay at Braeside B&B. It is located close to the centre of Portree, but was very quiet at night. Our room was clean and comfortable. The shower is small with hard to adjust hot/cold flow. The breakfast offered a modest range of cold and cooked items. The hostess Ruth was helpful and friendly. It would...

Was forced to abandon our camping holiday, due to my car developing brake trouble. As it was a Sunday and no garages were open, we decided to stay in a B&B - and struck lucky with Braeside... Fantastic, cheery welcome, great wee room with a fine en suite - much appreciated after a few days of wild camping! Breakfast was...

The breakfast was fantastic and also the owner. The best B&B we have ever stayed. The B&B's room are quite really warm&cozy. And view that you see from windows of the hotel is perfect, I thought it's the most beautiful hotel's view in portree.

Paul and Aileen welcomed myself and my husband into their home for one short day, but they left a great impression. The location provided a short 5 minute walk into town where we ate our dinner. The room was big, clean, and well appointed. The view of Loch Linnhe from the breakfast room was fabulous, see photo.....we would definitely find...

This B&B has an excellent location right on the water and next to loads of restaurants and a co-op. We enjoyed a really lovely breakfast and felt very welcome during our time there and really enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

“Of the three rooms at Braeside Bed and Breakfast ours faced on to Stormy Hill with views as did one other. The third room didn't really have a view - but was still a lovely spacious room! The breakfast room is very bright and welcoming and there is a communal lounge for guests. We were given a key and were free to come and go as we wished.”
