We visited mid week for evening meal and decided to sit in their impressive malt bar in front of the whisky selection on display. Food was of a high standard and the service was catching up. The view from the restaurant looking out to the harbour was a bit smiling point. Nice place to visit but we didn't stay overnight.

We were only here for lunch after a funeral but it was really lovely. Sitting in the bay window of the lounge we had the most glorious view. The staff were so helpful and the soup, sandwiches and shortbread very good.

The hotel has a wonderful view of the harbor, perfect if you're on a romantic getaway. Rooms are comfortable and clean. The front desk staff is very friendly and welcoming. We also loved the traditional Scottish breakfast. The portions are large and the food delicious.

This was a lovely hotel, the staff were very nice. The grounds were beautiful and the bedroom was very nice. My favourite bedroom view of our holiday and the bed was very big. Had such an amazing time walking round Portree. In the morning the breakfast was well presented and lots to choose from. Thank you

Cuillin hills was a wonderful experience! Beautiful setting (what isn't in Scotland though?!), great service, dinner was delicious. I really love the lounge with fire place. We checked in and loved the view so much that we wanted a room with a view (had not previously booked that), they informed us that they had one but it was a handicapped...

Wonderful location overlooking Portree. Room was luxurious, clean, warm and well furnished. Dinner was delicious with a varied menu. Breakfast was a bit of a shambles with lots of staff taking orders but not bringing the food. They seemed to find it difficult to cope with lots of people turning up for breakfast at the same time. Apart from that,...

We had met our son who was studying for a year in Scotland to visit for a day on the Isle of Skye. We needed three rooms and the only rooms available were in the Cuillens Hills Hotel. We reserved the three rooms, each of which were massive. My son's grandiose plans were somewhat consuming. In the end, we call...

Stayed two nights during two weeks of wandering all around Scotland. Despite very spotty wi-fi in our room (in back building) and somewhat limited menu (five, or maybe six mains on menu - plus a special one of the nights) we enjoyed this hotel as much or more than anywhere else we stayed during our trip. First, the internet was...

My partner and I were so excited to get a way for a night, especially when we had seen the range of seafood this hotel had on offer on their website. When we arrived, we were very welcomed by reception and shown to our room which was lovely. We then went for dinner in the restaurant and were very very...

I recently stayed at the Cuillin Hills Hotel for the 3rd time. The hotel is great - very clean and comfortable. The views from the hotel are phenomenal (even on a hazy day). I must say the food was top quality - when I asked about it the staff mentioned that they have a new chef - I could tell!...
