We stayed as a couple on business and arrived on a Sunday. We booked a superior room and were allocated No 5. The hotel was not the easiest to find, it's up a steep hill from the Main Street and the roads around it very narrow, there is a car park. Staff were friendly. I had asked if there was...

We stayed for two nights. Our room was a classed as a "Superior Double Room". It was No.5 and was at the end of a long corridor, but nearest the steep road. The bed was fine, there were two armchairs [a bit worn]; besides the en-suite there was also a dressing room/kitchen which was unexpected, but useful. The breakfasts were...

Nice views over the bay and close to Tobermory Distillery where I was working. The staff were helpful and the food was reasonable and hot. The hotel was in a back street of the town of Tobermory but it was nice and quiet with free wifi and the room was clean and quiet.

We booked for 2 nights and on arrival were warmly welcomed as was our dog. The room was warm and very cosy and clean. The shower was fabulous and hot. It was a very quiet week and with just a few guests and only us on our last night we had wonderful service. The staff were chatty and warm and...

Hotel is basic, but clean. Rooms were cold on arrival but we put the heater on and it was fine from then. Didn't eat there for tea, but the breakfast was nice. It is up quite a steep hill if your walking. Ok for 1 or 2 nights.

This hotel in up a steep hill so get in a cab, if you can find one, I'd recommend island taxis. The hotel itself seems to be run by a skeleton staff, they do very well though. It's not a welcoming hotel and the accommodation is basic and fairly comfortable. We were 2 grandma's travelling and had hoped to get...

This hotel is a 5 minute walk down to the centre of Tobermory, yet is nice and quiet and has car parking onsite. Also boasts a bar and restaurant, which although quite small offers a good varied menu at reasonable prices with friendly staff. The negatives are the poor decor in the reception area, the hallways and landing which all...

Stayed here for 2 nights with my sister. Hotel was clean but needs updating. Staff were wonderful but seemed to be trying to do so many different jobs. No one at reception most of time. Think it was very overpriced for standard of hotel.

A decent 1 night stay while touring Scotland. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Walls seem somewhat thin as I could hear the couple next door making tea / coffee, but I had an undisturbed night. Didn't try the bar for an evening meal, but breakfast was lovely and cooked to order. Staff were pleasant and friendly.

The rooms were clean and nice, the staff friendly. But the onsite restaurant was really bad. The staff were overwhelmed with the few guests and the room lighting was only very dimly. The answer on my question to make it brighter was that she was very sorry for the inconvenience and her chieff would know about it... But obviously he...
