Our 4th stay at this lovely castle. We stayed in Mingary - a great room with stunning views across the ocean. Very comfortable and homely. Staff were helpful and friendly, breakfast was wonderful and drinking whisky by the fire in the evenings with other guests was a real treat. You have to really want to get to this place as... More

I enjoyed the Mingary room, with stunning views to the north. Huge space, extremely comfortable bed, and lovely bathroom with very good shower and a victorian bath if you wish to soak. The rooms are up a flight of grand wooden stairs. Downstairs offers a library & sitting room with a round of complimentary whiskeys to enjoy; along with a... More

We stayed at the ardmore room at this upmarket B&B on the beautiful island of Mull in Scotland for 3 days. The drive over the single track road and first glimpse of the castle is something special. The weather was lovely for our stay apart for the 1st morning when it rained, the staff were more than happy to let... More

Most island of Mull, is a one lane road, not in any direction, but just a single path. Should be treated with utmost care, especially in places like the intersection that leads to the Castle Glengorm, where herds of cows and sheep, and deer are free to roam as they wish ... but it's worth every penny! The castle is... More

Our trip to Scotland wouldn't be complete without staying in a castle. We saw pictures of Glengorm castle online and knew this would be perfect location. It didn't disappoint. Check in was very informal, but quick and easy. We stayed in the Laorin room and oh my, it was fit for royalty. Ocean views, comfy bed and a large, large... More

This was our favorite hotel on our two week trip to Scotland. Just a terrific castle-hotel! The common rooms were just spectacular--a warm fire and free whiskeys to boot, maybe 20 of them (if you wanted to pass out!). Bedrooms were also luxurious. Stayed there on a windy, rainy night. A friend ran down to the general store to get... More

If you're thinking of staying at Glengorm then you're probably attracted by the experience of spending the night in a Scottish castle. That was certainly our motivation and I can safely say that the experience lived up to my expectations. It's a lovely old building in a beautifully secluded location, with sweeping views down to the rugged coastline. To sit... More

We chose Glengorm Castle for two nights on our 30th anniversary trip, because we had stayed here 10 years ago and hoped it had remained as special as we remembered. Happily, it is, and then some. It is truly a castle but, at the same time, it is a warm and inviting home. We were treated so well by all... More

My wife and I recently stayed two nights at Glengorm Castle while vacationing in Scotland. We arrived at Glengorm late afternoon having driven from Advasar, Isle of Skye via Malling and Kilchoan to Tobermory (including two ferry crossings) then along the single track road to Glengorm guided all the way by our GPS. Some reviews have expressed concerns about the... More

We didn't actually stay at the castle but visited for the day and used their cafe/restaurant. It's worth the drive just for the coffee! The best we found on Mull. We also had lunch which was excellent, and reasonably priced. The staff were very friendly and helpful - what more could you want?!
