After a quite amazing day, visiting Staffa - Fingal's cave then Iona we took the scenic and classic B classed road drive from Fionnphort to eventually arrive at what is claimed to be Mull's oldest inn dated 1608, the welcome was as one would expect on the Scottish western isles, both warm and welcoming. The proprietor was very well mannered...

Thank you for your kind review and apologies for the inconsistent wifi connection that you experienced during your stay. This is something that we are actively pursuing with our provider as we are very aware of the importance of such services for our guests.

We chose to go to the hotel restaurant for a dinner while staying elsewhere in Devaig for a couple of nights. Everything on the menu seemed to be seriously overpriced. The senior male staff was rather pretentious and unpleasant. The younger chap was nice and helpful. Food was disappointing for its price (burger bun burnt, chips obviously re-fried, all veg...

Warm friendly welcome. Room and en suite were clean and spacious but lacked the finer touches we would have expected for £95 a night. Tea, coffee, biscuits and milk was not replenished daily. Wi-Fi was very poor could only be accessed when standing next to router. Breakfast was below average and warm rather than hot. The exterior of the hotel...

Our room was pleasantly comfortable, bathroom was modern and had a nice power shower! We were situated in a top floor room which gave a nice view and was nice and quiet. Staff were helpful, breakfast in the morning was perfect and great value for money to come with a B&B package deal. Only thing is that it is a...

First impressions: Arrived a touch weary after a long drive but received a very warm and friendly welcome from the staff. Negative reports: Our room (No 6) was somewhat sparse and, as a previous reviewer mentioned, the roadway outside was at window level and not a very nice view; but I guess one cannot change the architecture of the building....

One of our favourite pubs on Mull, We visited for lunch whilst on holiday, on Fathers Day..we should have realised when there were only two couples eating that things were not as we expected. Normally you have been unable to book at the Bellachroy and it would be heaving on a hot sunny afternoon! Not so today, we didn't realise...

We had a wonderful dinner, the beef pie was one of the best pub meals I have ever had, washed down with a most excellent pint of Loch Fyne Avalanche Ale. To finish there was a wonderful cheese board with local cheeses. The service was excellent, and we won the pub quiz, with the help of another couple. Quiz is...

We stayed for four nights in early April and found the hotel to be a characterful inn. The rooms are not perfect, but were perfectly comfortable and clean and what you should expect from a very old hostelry. The menu was not extensive but over our stay we had enough variety and found the quality to be excellent. Keep up...
