My wife and I are visiting Mull for a long weekend. The hotel with swimming pool and spa is ideally located for the main Oban Ferry, however there isn’t much else around except for the Craignure Pub and the Community Hospital with A&E for those...More
We have spent a week on the isle of mull and just returned today, but unfortunately spent 2 days of our holidays at the mull hotel and spa which was really expensive and a massive let down as its nothing like what youd expect going...More
The best thing about this hotel are the staff and the view. Although handy for the ferry you need a car as there is nothing much in Craignure and I personally couldn't wait to get on the ferry to Oban! The staff are very friendly...More
I came here for a week and was excited by the look of the website and prospect of a spa quality stay. I was pretty disappointed. The food was good so no complaints there (albeit repetitive as the menu didn't change for the whole 6...More
Craignure is not overflowing with places to eat. We'd tried the Craignure Hotel but were hugely disappointed so the Isle of Mull Hotel was the only other option for dinner.
It has, in my view, seen better days and the public areas are tired. It...More

Hi. No payment for swimming pool for guests of hotel and towels are free. There is a small pool for children at the west end of pool. I didn't use the small pool so can't say if it was any warmer. I think the temperature was around the usual 28 degrees in the pool. Not hot but not cold either. Enjoy your stay, I'm jealous

Main courses in the restaurant are probably £12 - £20, the bar meals slightly less. These are very reasonable prices for an hotel and the quality is usually excellent - they run a Steak night and we've never been disappointed when we've eaten there. Sunday lunch is usually good too.
Do remember that so much has to be 'imported' on to the island and fuel prices can be higher than on the mainland so what can't be produced on island may cost a little more than you may find elsewhere.
