wondered what I would be getting for such a modest price. I needn't have worried. Although the caravan has seen a bit of use it was immaculately clean and everything that needed to work well worked well. It was more for people seeking complete isolation rather than someone who likes to be in full contact with the world. There is...

We spent two nights at Newcroft in May 2015. The house is clean and cosy and Helen (the owner) made us feel very welcome. Helen also makes a wicked chocolate cake and her home made bread was delicious. The room was very nice and clean. There was no en-suite but that wasn't an issue in the slightest. Plenty of choices...

Lovely home in an amazing island. Wonderful breakfast, fresh eggs. Helen give a warm welcome with home-made cake, and the living room displays a nice fireplace, to plan next days around the fire. Nice rooms.

We stayed at Newcroft on 12 & 13th June. Weather awful but more than made up for by the comfort and hospitality of this Guest House. Helen lit the fire and joined us in the evenings for an hours most enjoyable conversation. Rooms and beds very comfortable. Bathroom spotless. Huge choice for breakfast including cereals, toast from freshly made bread,...

My wife and I stayed in the B&B for two nights with two friends, we were the only ones staying there at the time. It is located in a beautifully remote part of the world and is the epitome of tranquillity. The guest part of B&B consists of 3 bedrooms, a bathroom and additional toilet. As another reviewer has pointed...

Stayed two nights here. Lovely B&B: delicious food (AND home baking!!) Very comfortable room, lots of space. Guest lounge has a lovely log fire. No en-suite, but with only three rooms, you just get up early. Nothing was too much trouble for Helen. If you like a quiet getaway, this is the place: there’s no TV/mobile/wireless signal.

This B&B is quite hard to find but very nice. The owner is a lovely lady, very attentive and caring. She had cooked a cake and some biscuits for our arrival, something we did really appreciate after a long car trip. The house is clean and the room very comfortable and nice. It was a bit cold though and the...

I chose the Newcrofts due to its convenient location near Fionport as I was planning to take the first ferry to Iona. It is 10-15 minutes by car from Fionport and 5 mins from Bunessan where you can find a place for dinner. Also it is close to the Ardalanish bay - one of the most beautiful beaches on Mull....

Newcrofts B&B is an important part of our enchantment with the Isle of Mull. The facilities are impeccably clean. The room, comfortable. The hostess, Helen, garrulous and a good source of information. The best feature is the guest sitting room. A sliding glass door allows for an uninterrupted view of the landscape - and of Bobby, a Highland bull orphan...
