Donald and Neal run two nice quest houses. Room was clean and kept well. Breakfast was excellent. These guest houses are really in the country so very quiet, but a long way from restaurants. An evening meal is offered; we ate there the 3 nights we stayed and found the food varied, high quality, and well prepared.

Loch Roag offered everything we wanted: large bedroom with en suite bathroom, dinner on site, laundry, free parking, full on breakfast. We were not disappointed on all accounts. The staff is helpful and kind. The food is delicious and plentiful. The location is near the Callanish Stones, and many other sites on Lewis.

We were warmly welcomed upon arrival, this is a comfortable B&B just off the main road, no noise at all and a nice view, excellent place for visiting the Callanish standing stones. Slept wonderful. Breakfast was rich and kept us going for long.

After a tiring day travel, it was great to chill out in fabulous room, ground floor, easy access, my second time here, last time with a travel group. Standard very high, a bit of an issue off a adjoining room external door which opened onto our bedroom window, Breakfast excellent, staff very friendly.

We had a great stay here, very comfortable, the owner was very helpful. We booked in for dinner which was delicious. We sat up with our friends listening to Scittish music in the lounge finishing off our wine. All the staff were lovely. Very close to lovely beaches and the Callanish stones

The place was great, in a quiet, beautiful location. Took a long walk around the area streets with my son and a local dog who adopted us. The people were super nice and accommodating, the rooms were quiet and comfortable, and the breakfasts were excellent!

Highly recommendable! Cozy rooms, great breakfast room with good views over the Loch and great location. The owner (and the rest of the staff) is really friendly and he is an amazing chef! If you stay there you have to have dinner! It is absolutely delicious.

Hotel was very comfortable and clean. Views surrounding the hotel are amazing. Callanish Standing Stones are a short drive away and a must visit. Breakfast was delicious - as was dinner. Only stayed one night but felt comfortable and safe here. Would recommend!

The views from this B&B are fantastic, and there are so many archaeological sites within walking distance - which was the main draw of our stay. We had the smallest (and cheapest) room - it was clean and had everything you expect from a B&B. The en suite was fine, shower was working fine - only drawback was the lack...
